After dawn, the group left the quaint town and made their way back to the Jarvis family estate. Old Mr. Jarvis specifically looked for Sylvia but couldn't find her, a clear tinge of disappointment shadowing his face. Estelle informed Old Mr. Jarvis that Sylvia had to leave early for some urgent matters and had asked her to pass on the message. Old Mr. Jarvis didn't say much, just nodded in acknowledgment.
After a bustling noon, by the afternoon, everyone set off back to J City, marking the end of their holiday. Kya, clutching the two fish Old Mr. Jarvis had gifted her, waved her little hand goodbye to Mr. Carnes, saying, "Bye Great-Grandpa, I'll come visit again." Old Mr. Jarvis was beaming with joy, "You better keep your word!"
Kya replied earnestly, "It's up to my dad to keep the promise. I want to visit Great-Grandpa again, but I can't do it on my own!" Her naive and sweet voice made everyone laugh, and Charlie, holding her, said, "Don't worry, your dad keeps his promises too!" Kya asked, "So, we'll visit Great-Grandpa again?" Charlie smiled, "Of course, you've already promised, how could Dad not agree?"
Kya immediately turned to Mr. Carnes, "You see, we keep our promises, Great-Grandpa, no need to see us out." Everyone laughed again, utterly charmed by her, wishing they could have a child as adorable as her right away.
Estelle decided not to return with Magdalen and the others as she couldn't bear to leave her grandfather just yet, wanting to spend another night at home. Naturally, Jonathan stayed back as well. Magdalen hugged Estelle goodbye, "I'll be waiting for you in J City." Estelle nodded, "Yeah."
Jonathan held Estelle's hand, his warm and firm grasp providing her a bit of comfort. As they descended the mountain at dusk, the setting sun blanketed half the sky in a magnificent display. Without bringing up Gabriel again, Jonathan spent the evening playing chess with Old Mr. Jarvis, with Estelle by their side, occasionally giving advice to both, amusing them with her attempts to stir the game. The relaxed atmosphere eased the pain of parting, bringing more smiles to Old Mr. Jarvis's face.
Around eight, Old Mr. Quintin called for a video chat. Old Mr. Jarvis went to talk with Old Mr. Quintin, leaving Estelle to continue the chess game with Jonathan. Old Mr. Quintin inquired, "I heard Estelle, is she still in C City?" Old Mr. Jarvis replied with a smile, "Leaving tomorrow." "And Gab?"

I'm so glad that Gonzalez was able to get Luke, Oliver and all others who wanted to challenge himas the CEO straight. Interesting how Xavier made reference to a girlfriend concerning his gift to Norah, but never did this before her accident. I'm grateful for the updates. Thank you...
