"Knowing I shouldn't have said it and still saying it, made me wanna cry in the middle of the night!" Jasmine choked up.

"Alright, alright, I'm sorry, okay!" Sophia started to soothe Jasmine again, "Ms. Jones, don't get so worked up, you're not that young anymore, keep it cool, think about your image!"

Jasmine couldn't help but laugh, "I'm fine, but Jason has put in so many years, don't break his heart."

Sophia wasn't sure how much her mom knew, she whispered, "Mom, my head's a mess right now. I just broke up with Robin, and I don't know how to face Jason. I can't figure out if my feelings for him are just dependency from growing up together or something more. I want to be clear-headed before I move forward, it's only fair to him."

Jasmine's voice softened, "I understand, and I know how you feel, don't worry, Jason will wait for you."

These words made Sophia's heart ache, yet brought a gentle comfort like moonlight. She walked to the window, took a breath of the cool air outside, her mind becoming clearer, and whispered, "I understand, go to sleep, I'll finish revising the design drafts and then head to bed."

Jasmine advised, "It's late, try to sleep early."

"Yeah!"

After hanging up, Sophia's restless heart began to settle down.

Jason's words had shocked her deeply. These past few days, her heart was in turmoil, finding no peace. After this call, her mood had slightly improved.

She would figure things out before facing him again.

Shortly after, she turned around and went back to her room to focus on her design drafts, putting aside her jumbled thoughts.

The next day, Sophia finally saw Jason at the studio.

He came with Estelle.

This was Estelle's first visit to the studio since her identity was revealed, and everyone was excited, circling around Estelle with admiration and affection, yet trying not to be too overwhelming.

Jason said in a calm voice, "Estelle will be coming by often. Just treat her normally, don't scare her away!"

Everyone chuckled in embarrassment.

Jason's gaze swept over Sophia and quickly shifted away, his eyes cold and distant behind his gold-rimmed glasses, his demeanor as aloof and noble as ever, showing no sign of the previous night's turmoil.

"I'm just scared we can't even be friends anymore!" Sophia sighed.

"Jason's more scared of that than you are," Estelle replied.

Sophia paused, feeling something sweet and sour swell up inside her heart.

Deputy Director Hannah Carlin came to report to Sophia, becoming nervous upon seeing Estelle.

The past incidents were unforgettable for everyone.

Jealous, Hannah had made life difficult for Estelle multiple times. Now, thinking back, the fact that Estelle kept her in the studio was incredibly generous!

Comparing herself to her past actions, Hannah felt even more remorseful.

Estelle remained composed, "The New Year's collection you designed for Happy Jewel before the holidays, I heard it was Director Carlin who led the team, it was fantastic. They sold very well and even called Mr. Gilder to express their gratitude. They plan to increase their collaboration with us this year. Director Carlin did a great job."

Hannah was visibly moved, "Thank you, thank you for your recognition!"
