The two of them brought fruit plates and drinks into the private room. Someone was singing inside, the lights were flashing, and it was deafeningly loud

Everyone was having a blast, and nobody paid attention to the two servers delivering the drinks and fruits.

As Estelle poured the drinks, she saw Nicolas sitting on the sofa across from her, with the girl in the pink skirt sitting next to him playing a game.

The gul saw the fruit plate and pouted at Nicolas, “I want lycheel”

Nicolas had a charming smile on his face as he kindly picked a lychee and handed it to the girl.

People around started teasing. “Peel it for Leah!”

As the crowd laughed, the girl tilted her head slightly, waiting for Nicolas to peel the lychee and feed her. Nicolas felt a bit embarrassed, “Stop joking around, guys!”

The girl elbowed Nicolas and frowned, “Hurry up, or I’ll cry!”

The light hit Nicolas‘ face, the constantly changing colors of the light became a clown mask on his face. He peeled the lychee, hesitated for a moment, and put it in the girl’s mouth.

People continued teasing, asking Nicolas to feed her with his mouth. The girl swallowed the lychee in one bite, hugged Nicolas, and pretended to be angry, “Alright, you guys, don’t push it too far! Don’t bully Nicolas!”

Everyone laughed again. Estelle could tell that although the group was teasing, their words carried a pleasing tone towards the girl named Leah.

The girl looked young, delicate, and willful, not at all like a company executive.

Estelle had already opened all the drinks, so she couldn’t stay in the private room any longer. She turned to leave with the other server.

Isis sighed, “You can’t seriously have a crush on Nicolas, can you?” 

Isis heard her answer was definitive and didn’t tease her further, “Okay, I’ll ask now, and I’ll call you back later.”

“Alright!”

After hanging up, Estelle sat on the table, took out her book and read for less than ten minutes before Isis texted her, revealing Nicolas‘ work company’s name, which was a jewelry company.

Isis called again soon after, “Did you see the message I sent? People in the group said Nicolas is doing pretty well, he’s been working for less than two months, showed outstanding performance, and has already been promoted to the sales department.”

Estelle now had a clear picture, “Okay, got it.”

The two chatted for a while, and after hanging up, Estelle contacted Blue Hawk, “Help me look up who runs Shining Jewels in J City, and also look up one of their new employees, named Nicolas.”

Blue Hawk’s response was as concise as always, “Got it!”
