Norah had reached her limit, but her upbringing didn’t allow her to lose her temper in public. She swallowed all her anger and held back from arguing.

Estelle suddenly spoke up, “If Norah was truly touchy, do you think you’d still be sitting here all comfy?”

Leah looked up with a sarcastic gaze, “What do you mean? Who are you, and since when do you have a say here?”

Estelle coldly said, “Do you even know your place? Nicolas is Norah’s boyfriend!”

“So what?” Leah laughed dismissively, “I’m still his cousin! Can’t he be good to his cousin just because he has a girlfriend?”

Estelle had had enough. If it weren’t for the fact that Norah still had feelings for Nicolas, she’d definitely kick this pretentious and disgusting woman out the window!

Nicolas immediately stood up and grabbed Leah, “Stop this nonsense!”

He turned to Norah, his handsome face filled with embarrassment, “I’m sorry, I’ll explain everything to you another day. I need to take her home now.”

Norah looked at him with disappointment, “Just go!”

Nicolas left with Leah, and Leah looked back at Estelle, her previous delicate demeanor gone. She pointed at Estelle, threatening her like a brat, “You’re Estelle, right? Now I remember you!”

Estelle couldn’t be bothered dealing with her.

Norah watched the two leave and saw Nicolas taking Leah to a Maserati through the window and quickly drove away.

Nicolas had just started working, and couldn’t afford a car, so this car must belong to Leah.

In an instant, something in Norah’s heart changed, and she was left with a mix of pain and emptiness.

Estelle poured Norah a glass of water, “What do you want to do?”

As childhood sweethearts who liked each other, they inevitably had moments of passion. Nicolas had suggested sleeping together, but she always refused him.

Her parents were very strict, so she wouldn’t do anything inappropriate before meeting each other’s parents and getting their blessing.

Estelle was slightly relieved, “That’s good. For now, I think you should keep some distance from him.”

Norah was Jonathan Lamont’s niece and also her friend. She didn’t want to see Norah get hurt, no matter what.

Norah’s eyes were moist, and she nodded, “I know. Please don’t tell Henson or my uncle about me and Nicolas, nor anyone else. I want to handle this myself.”

Estelle asked, “Do you need my help?”

Estelle didn’t say anything more. Firstly, she wasn’t good at comforting people; secondly, she felt that no matter what she said next, it wouldn’t ease Norah’s pain.
