Norah lowered her head, her eyes were cold and indifferent, her face was also full of mockery and disappointment.

‘Norah?‘ Nicolas couldn’t hear her and asked worriedly.

“I’ll wait for you here if you don’t come in half an hour, we’re done! Norah hung up the phone immediately.

She stared at her phone, feeling as if a knife had been stabbed into her heart. She used to be so moved by Nicolas’s sweet words that she wanted to spend her life with him. Now, all she felt was irony.

Estelle asked, “Will he come?”

Norah, with her eyes downcast, nodded, “He will.”

“Then, I’ll leave first. You two chat!” Estelle stood up.

Tears filled Norah’s eyes as she looked up. “Thank you, Estelle.”

“No problem!” Estelle nodded slightly and walked away.

After taking a few steps, she looked back to see Norah leaning on the table, her shoulders trembling slightly, as if she was crying.

Estelle suddenly felt uneasy about leaving Norah alone, so she didn’t leave the cafe but went upstairs instead.

She sat down at a spot near the railing, right where she could see where Norah was sitting downstairs.

Norah cried for a good twenty minutes before raising her head and heading to the restroom. When she came back, her face was cleaned, but her eyes were still red.

She took out her phone, opened her photo album, and sobbed again when she saw the pictures of her and Nicolas. She then started deleting the pictures one by one.

As soon as she finished deleting the pictures, Nicolas entered the cafe.

Embarrassment flashed across Nicolas’s face, “I meet rich clients every day, and I sell jewelry. If I dress too shabbily, people will look down on

me.”

Norah couldn’t help but laugh sarcastically. She used to think the same way. Seeing Nicolas wearing designer clothes while buying her knockoffs, she didn’t mind it at all. She figured he needed to dress up since he was working. Now she realized she was a fool blinded by love.

What disgusted her even more was that the clothes Nicolas was wearing weren’t bought with his own money, but with Leah’s!

Her boyfriend, spending another woman’s money,it was simply the biggest joke in the world!

Nicolas held Norah’s hand, “I know you’re not materialistic, and that’s why I love you. I’ll spend all the money I make on you in the future!”

Norah slowly pulled her hand out, her tears ready to fall, “No need, we should break up!”
