Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 2748

At Estelle's words, all three of them fell back, laughing.

Emily was laughing so hard she had tears in her eyes. “Don’t worry, I’m definitely on Estelle’s team. No one can sway me!”

Magdalen lounged against the headboard. “As long as my Morrison doesn’t use his charms on me, I should be able to stand my ground!”

Emily raised an eyebrow. “And what if he does?”

“Then I’ll…” Magdalen’s eyes darted around. “I’ll turn him to our side!”

She then hugged Estelle. “In any case, no one is more important than my dear Ella!”

Estelle looked at Emily. “She says that in front of me, but as soon as she sees Morrison, I guarantee she’ll throw herself at him and forget all about me.”

Emily couldn't help but laugh.

Magdalen, however, started tickling Estelle. “Let me check if your conscience is still there, or if you’ve given it all to Jonathan.”

After joking around for a while, Emily sat cross-legged on the bed, tilting her head with a smile. “Doesn’t this feel just like when we were in Oakdale City?”

Back then, after Kya was asleep, the three of them would often stay up late, talking into the night.

Sometimes, when Kya wouldn't sleep, they would hand her over to Manley, who had become a master at soothing children.

Magdalen said, “It’s not that different from before.”

Emily nodded. “We’re just missing Manley.”

Magdalen smiled faintly. “We can’t have him here now. If he were, I wouldn’t be able to laugh.”

Understanding flashed in Emily’s eyes. She squeezed Estelle’s hand. “Don’t worry. Manley is resilient. After today and tomorrow, he’ll be back to his usual cheerful self, I promise.”

Magdalen added, “We can let Kya keep him company tomorrow. Seeing her is guaranteed to cheer him up.”

Estelle smiled. “I’m afraid Charlie won’t be too happy about that.”
