Talia's face flushed violently red. "Are you insulting me on purpose?"
The playful charm had completely vanished from Manley's face, replaced by a terrifying indifference. He pulled out a cigarette and lit it. "Take the mirror I gave you and get the hell out."
Anyone stupid enough to challenge Estelle definitely needed a mirror at home.
Talia was enraged by the humiliation. "You set me up!"
Her mind raced as she processed Manley's words. Suddenly, she gasped. "Wait... do you have feelings for Jonathan Lamont too?"
That was it. He dragged her away from the party just to keep her away from Jonathan!
"Cough!" Manley choked on his smoke. He shot the woman a freezing glare. "I'll say it one more time. Get out."
What kind of brain-dead logic was that?
When Talia threw a tantrum and refused to move, Manley simply opened her door and practically kicked her out.
The man waiting outside, afraid Talia might get seriously hurt, reached out and caught her. Talia flailed wildly. "Get off me, you filthy creep! How dare you touch me!"
The man's expression darkened, and he immediately let go.
With a heavy thud, Talia crashed onto the pavement. She grimaced in agony, but before she could even catch her breath, the sports car roared to life, blasting her face with exhaust fumes as it sped off.

Back at the banquet, Estelle was chatting with Emily when she received a text from Manley: [Estelle, for you, I even took the fall of being accused of liking men!]
He followed it up with a sticker of a baby pouting in a corner.
Estelle understood instantly and couldn't help but feel speechless. [She was never a threat to me. Why did you even bother?]
Manley: [Not acceptable. I won't let anyone make you even slightly unhappy.]
"He will," Estelle said with absolute certainty.
Everyone eventually found their way to happiness. Manley would too—it was only a matter of time.
Emily looked off into the distance, watching Charlie crouch down with Kya in his arms as they gazed up at the fireworks. Her lips curved up instinctively. The joy in her heart mirrored the fireworks, launching into the sky and bursting into brilliant colors.
She turned to Estelle, her tone filled with immense sincerity. "Thank you, Estelle. I told Charlie that without him, I wouldn't be who I am today. But the truth is, without you, none of this would exist either."
Estelle had brought her luck, courage, and strength.
Looking at Emily, Estelle recalled the first time they met—the warm, innocent girl. She remembered Emily lying in a damp, dim apartment while pregnant, looking so fragile she might break at any second. And she remembered Emily in Oakdale City, raising Kya all on her own, pulling herself out of despair with relentless optimism.
She was just like her favorite daisies, burying her resilience and hope deep inside, forever reaching toward the sun.
All of this wasn't because of Estelle. It was because Emily truly deserved it.

As the plot thicken. Adrian is done for and he can't try to control Norah, so he'd probably tattle to Janice who's gone for two weeks. Thank you soooo much for the updates....
