Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3080

Dylan's voice was frantic. "Xavier! The demolition crew is back, and they brought an excavator! They're about to tear the house down right now! What is going on? I thought we had a deal? We haven't signed a single piece of paper, we didn't agree to anything! Why are they suddenly destroying our home?"

Xavier's expression instantly froze, his eyes turning glacial. "I'm on my way. Stall them, but prioritize your safety. Keep your parents safe!"

"Got it!" Dylan replied breathlessly. "I'll try to hold them off as long as I can!"

"Do not get yourself killed!"

As soon as Xavier hung up, Norah looked over in alarm. "What's happening?"

Xavier quickly briefed her on the situation.

Norah was utterly bewildered. "Didn't we finalize the deal yesterday? Could the crew just be out of the loop?"

Xavier started the engine and immediately dialed Warren Wallace's number.

The phone rang until it hit voicemail. Warren wasn't answering.

Xavier hung up and called Wyatt. Hearing the news, Wyatt was furious. "I'll call Warren right now. If he ignores me, I'm driving straight to his office."

After ending the call, Xavier slammed his foot on the gas and sped toward the mountain.

He drove like a madman, tearing up the winding roads. By the time they reached the B&B, it was pure chaos.

A massive excavator was parked right in front of the house. Mr. Donovan was sprawled on the dirt, struggling against several men who were dragging him away. Dylan was throwing punches, locked in a violent brawl with two other thugs.

Mrs. Donovan was sobbing, begging the crew to stop, only to be shoved so hard she nearly crashed into the brick wall.

Xavier shot out of the car. He closed the distance in seconds, launching a brutal kick that sent the man grabbing Mr. Donovan flying backward. Just as he leaned down to help Mr. Donovan up, Norah screamed from the car, "Watch out!"

Xavier didn't even flinch. He sidestepped a crowbar swinging at the back of his head, grabbed his attacker's wrist, and twisted it with a sickening *crack*. The man howled in agony before Xavier effortlessly hurled him aside.

The two men fighting Dylan immediately turned their sights on Xavier, only to be dismantled with three ruthless strikes.

Xavier's movements were explosive and utterly merciless. The sheer force behind his blows was terrifying. Within seconds, the thugs were left bruised, bloody, and writhing on the ground in pain.

There were seven men on the demolition crew. Realizing they were completely outmatched, they scrambled to their feet and fled in terror.

Xavier knew something was deeply wrong.

Wyatt called back just then. Xavier answered immediately. "What did you find out?"

Wyatt was practically roaring. "Warren isn't answering his phone. I drove straight to his corporate office, and he's not here. The coward is deliberately dodging us!"

Xavier narrowed his eyes. It was exactly as he suspected—Warren had orchestrated the whole thing.

But why? If he wasn't willing to spare the house, he could have just rejected them at the teahouse. Why make a promise, take the bribe, and then immediately order a violent demolition behind their backs? What was the angle?

"Don't panic just yet. I will hunt him down and force the truth out of him!" Wyatt promised viciously before hanging up.

Xavier lowered his phone and looked at the Donovans, his expression resolute. "The demolition crew might come back. Until this is permanently resolved, I'm not going anywhere."

Mrs. Donovan wept, looking at him with overwhelming gratitude. "Xavier, thank you. You're our only hope."

"Don't mention it," Xavier said firmly. "It's the least I can do."
