Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3139

Spencer paused, immediately sensing a terrifying edge to Gonzalez that hadn't been there before. Impressed and profoundly relieved, he nodded vigorously. "I'll have my team compile everything and send it up right away. If you have any questions, my door is always open."

"Good," Gonzalez replied curtly.

Not long after Spencer left, his assistant, Holly Jenkins, walked in carrying a stack of documents that required his signature.

Gonzalez took the folders and began scanning the pages.

Holly watched as his eyes flew over the text at lightning speed. She assumed he was just skimming to put on a show, but when he set the paperwork down and fired off a series of highly specific questions, she realized with shock that he had absorbed every single detail.

Stunned by his sharp intellect, she straightened her posture and quickly answered him with complete professionalism.

Only when he was fully satisfied with her explanations did he scrawl his signature on the dotted lines.

Once the paperwork was finalized, Gonzalez checked his watch. It was nearing noon.

He hit the intercom button and instructed Holly to summon Trevor.

It took a full twenty minutes for Trevor to casually stroll up to the top floor. Without even bothering to knock, he pushed the heavy double doors open. "You wanted to see me, Boss?"

Gonzalez seemed entirely unfazed by the blatant disrespect, casually gesturing for him to take a seat.

In Trevor's mind, this was just confirmation that the new president was utterly spineless and had no choice but to swallow the insult.

The man might be the heir to the Hanson empire, but he was a complete outsider in his own company. He had the title, but zero allies, zero experience, and zero respect. He was nothing but a figurehead—a toddler playing king on a hollow throne.

If Spencer Manning thought dragging this playboy back was going to turn the tide, he was delusional.

Was Gonzalez actually trying to win Trevor over with a cafeteria lunch?

What a joke. Trevor was loyal to the bone. He would never betray him to side with a powerless puppet.

Hannah had warned him to be careful of Gonzalez's return. But looking at this, Oliver didn't even need to lift a finger. Trevor had the kid completely housebroken on day one.

Oliver slid his phone back into his pocket, his smile widening in pure, unadulterated pleasure.

As long as he held the reins, Gonzalez wouldn't be able to take a single step forward in this company. He couldn't wait for the day the arrogant brat came crawling to his 'Uncle' for help.

Hannah had been right about one thing. The second Simon Hanson kicked the bucket, this entire empire was going to belong to the Franco family.
