Georgia clasped their hands together, her voice choked with emotion. "Gab, when Nana was still just a little kick in my belly, I jokingly told you to take care of her. Now, I'm truly placing her in your hands. I hope you support each other, respect each other, and grow old together."
Gabriel's gaze was unwavering. "I will. I promise I won't let you down."
Georgia offered a comforting smile. "You've never broken a promise to me. I believe in you. Bless you both."
"Thank you, Mom," Sylvia said softly, her smile radiant.
"Thank you, Mom," Gabriel echoed.
Hearing him use that title meant the world to Georgia. Tears blurred her vision as she nodded repeatedly.
"Don't miss the schedule," Old Mr. Quintin chuckled, wiping his own eyes. "Old Mr. Jarvis is a stickler for timing. Go on!"
Gabriel gave a final respectful nod, helped Sylvia up, and led her out.
Sunlight caught the crimson fabric of Sylvia's gown, illuminating the scattered diamonds so they sparkled like a galaxy of stars.
Gabriel held her hand tightly. Her palms were slightly damp, betraying the overwhelming surge of emotion she couldn't quite put into words.
She was finally marrying him.
Gabriel led her down the long red carpet. Under the watchful eyes of everyone present, he lifted her into his arms, carrying her onto the helicopter to head toward their grand ceremony.

Estelle and Magdalen Sampson, both heavily pregnant, had been strictly ordered to stay behind. They kept Old Mr. Jarvis company, watching the live broadcast from C City.
When Sylvia and Gabriel appeared on the screen, descending the staircase, Sylvia looked like a stunning, blooming rose. Magdalen excitedly grabbed Estelle's hand. "Ella, Sylvia is so gorgeous! I want a crimson wedding dress too!"
Sitting across from them, Morrison Langston looked up, frowning slightly at the sudden outburst.
Estelle gently patted Magdalen's arm. "Don't worry, she's always like this. You have a few more months to get used to it. By the time the baby comes, you'll be immune."
Magdalen laughed, her eyes shining with happy tears. She was genuinely thrilled.
