Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3401

She looked at Carson. Her bare face was serene, and her voice was as soothing as a mountain spring. "When did you get back?"

Carson offered a faint smile. "Last night. It was too late, and I didn't want to disturb your rest, so I waited until this morning."

The woman spoke gently, "Since you just returned, there must be a lot waiting for you at the company. Don't worry about me. Go handle your business after breakfast."

"Alright, I'll keep you company for breakfast."

He took her arm as they stood up and walked toward the villa.

The morning mist began to dissipate. Sunlight pierced through the clouds, bringing the flora in the courtyard into sharp focus.

Vibrant camellias, sprawling hibiscus, and fresh jasmine all bloomed together.

Even in late autumn, they were thriving beautifully.

"If you haven't been sleeping well lately, stop tending to the garden," Carson said. "That's what the landscapers are for."

She replied peacefully, "They're used to my care. They wouldn't adjust well to someone else."

His voice softened. "Then don't exhaust yourself, or I'll worry."

Her smile radiated warmth. "These flowers keep my spirits up. As long as they bloom, I'll be fine."

Carson sighed playfully. "And what about me?"

Her smile grew even tenderer. "You are my whole world."

Satisfied, he finally smiled.

After spending seven days in C City, Marina was swamped with work upon her return.

Rhiannon had found out that Carson's mother was a devout Buddhist. She specifically tracked down a rare lotus bodhi seed bracelet and asked Marina to gift it to Mrs. Foster.

Marina knew Mrs. Foster preferred her peace and quiet and rarely saw guests, so she wanted to pass it through Carson. However, they were both so busy lately that they hadn't managed to meet up.
