Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3412

Carson wasn't up yet, so she sat on the sofa and ordered breakfast on her phone.

After placing the order, Marina scrolled through her social media for a bit until a sudden knock at the door broke the silence.

That fast?

Marina walked over and opened the door. A young woman stood in the hallway, holding a bag with a breakfast box inside.

Marina figured the delivery apps were really stepping up their packaging game these days. She reached out to take it. "Thanks. I'll make sure to leave a five-star review!"

Caught off guard, the girl let the bag slip from her grasp. Her gaze turned instantly sharp as she eyed Marina up and down. "Are you my cousin's new girlfriend?"

Marina froze.

The girl's face darkened with disgust. "Shameless!"

Marina frowned.

The girl didn't let up. "Do you not know my cousin has a fiancée? You could be a decent person, but instead, you choose to be a homewrecker. What are you after? His money?"

"Selling your body and soul for a paycheck—have you no self-respect? How did your parents even raise you?"

Marina tried to get a word in. "You're Mr. Foster's cousin? I'm—"

"I don't care who you are! Parading around dressed like that to seduce men—you're clearly trash!" The girl's disgusted eyes swept over Marina's bathrobe.

Marina instinctively pulled the collar of her robe tighter.

"Let me tell you right now, my cousin will never take you seriously!" With an angry, almost heartbroken scoff, the girl spun on her heel and stormed off.

Getting cursed out first thing in the morning was quite the wake-up call, but the irony that this stranger was aggressively defending Marina's own honor left her completely speechless.

She closed the door and set the breakfast box on the dining table just as the washer chimed.

The clothes were perfectly dry. Marina went back to the guest room to change, and right on cue, her actual breakfast delivery arrived.
