Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3453

Suddenly, a chill ran down her spine. She whipped around to see Carson leaning lazily against the doorframe. His posture was relaxed, but his gaze was sharp and predatory, locked dead onto her.

Marina's heart skipped a beat. For some inexplicable reason, she felt a flash of guilt. She quickly spoke into the phone, "I've got to go. Talk later."

"Alright," Nocturne chuckled. "I'll send you the promo materials. Check them out, give me your feedback, and I'll pass it on to the editor."

"Will do. Bye." She hurriedly hung up.

"Why so panicked?" Carson's lips curled into a smirk that didn't quite reach his eyes.

Marina pocketed her phone and shot him a glare. "Who's panicked?"

"Who was on the phone?"

"None of your business." She shoved him toward the door. "I'm going to sleep. Get out."

"Kicking me out right after I feed you? You ungrateful little thing," Carson scoffed.

His voice dropped low, lacing the word 'feed' with a thick, suggestive heat. Marina's cheeks flushed. She gave him a hard shove out into the hall, slammed the door shut, and locked it.

Carson strolled back out to the balcony. His gaze swept over the small desk Marina used for work. Walking over, he noticed a storyboard sketchbook lying open. He flipped a page and realized for the first time that she drew manga.

The platform was pushing their manga hard, and the promotional artwork was phenomenal. Against the backdrop of a ruined cityscape, horrifying mutated creatures launched a brutal assault from all sides. The male and female leads, geared up in badass tactical armor, were caught mid-sprint. It was dynamic, intense, and instantly got the blood pumping.

Marina was thrilled. She immediately texted Nocturne: [I have zero notes. It looks incredibly epic!]

Nocturne replied a moment later: [If you're happy with it, then we're good to go. I'll let the editor know.]

Marina set her phone down. She was a bundle of nerves and excitement, eagerly waiting for their project to drop.

New comments were pouring in at ten per second.

"This is insane! The world-building is beyond anything I could have imagined. Nocturne is a god for a reason. Simply unmatched!"

"It's not just Nocturne carrying 'Law of Survival'. Ashen's personal style is so distinct! The high-level storyboarding is exactly why Ashen got famous in the first place. The emotional beats are flawless—no filler, just pure narrative perfection."

"The pacing in the first three chapters is blistering. The action is incredible, and the world is perfectly laid out. Zero complaints so far. Hope they can keep this momentum going!"

"I really want to see the romance develop between the leads, and how they're going to survive this crisis. I'm so hyped!"

"Can't wait for more!"

Marina kept refreshing the page. The sheer sense of accomplishment rushing through her felt even better than closing a massive deal or making millions of dollars.
