Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3591

Marina stood up. She didn't apologize, only scoffed. "I didn't say anything wrong. Making me apologize over a few tickets—Aunt Charlotte, are you looking down on me, or looking down on yourself?"

She looked at Rhiannon. "I already ate at the Foster house tonight, so I won't be joining Grandpa and Grandma for dinner. I'm heading out."

With that, she turned and left the living room. Her back was straight, her pace steady, and she soon disappeared out the door.

Charlotte's face turned pale with fury. She glared at Rhiannon. "What did she mean by that? Is she trying to use the Fosters to intimidate me? It's true—with the Foster family backing her, your Marina's temper is getting worse by the day. She talks back to me whenever she pleases. She has zero respect."

Rhiannon's expression darkened. "Marina just meant she already ate. There's no need to overthink every little thing she says, Charlotte."

"Overthink?" Charlotte let out a cold laugh.

Grandma Evert stepped in to mediate. "Enough. No matter how much you argue, we're still family. We'll still need Phoebe's help with those tickets."

Phoebe immediately spoke up, her voice gentle. "Don't worry, Grandma. I've already prepared the tickets for my cousin."

"Did she ask for your help?" Charlotte snapped at Phoebe, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "Marina has taken over the company now. She has money and connections. She's a big shot. Why would she need our Phoebe's help with some tickets? To Marina, this is just a trivial matter. She doesn't need us, so stop throwing yourself at her when she clearly doesn't care!"

Rhiannon frowned. "Charlotte, Phoebe is just a young girl. What kind of thing is that to say?"

Faced with the overbearing Charlotte, Phoebe seemed afraid to speak up. She simply turned to Rhiannon. "Aunt Rhiannon, please just ask Marina to apologize to my mom. My mom is her elder, after all."

Phoebe was completely different from Charlotte. She always spoke softly and gently. Rhiannon, being soft-hearted by nature, didn't argue further when she heard Phoebe's plea. She nodded. "Alright. I'll have Marina apologize."

Marina had just returned to her room when Carson called.

"What are you doing?" Carson asked.

Sitting on the balcony in front of her easel, Marina replied softly, "Painting."

Carson chuckled. "Have you eaten?"

With her phone in one hand and a brush outlining on the paper with the other, Marina stayed silent.
