Chapter 375 

The day before the new semester, Estelle returned to J City. 

The next day, she went to University of J City, where Isis enthusiastically told her about her summer vacation. After that, they had a class meeting and helped the college prepare for the freshmen’s ceremony… 

Days passed by in a flurry of activity. 

On Thursday, Henson called her and asked when she would be coming over on Saturday 

Estelle knew Henson probably called because he was afraid she wouldn’t come. 

“Same place, same time, Estelle laughed. “Let’s work hard together for another glorious semester!” 

Henson complained, “Have you been listening to too many speeches these days?” 

Estelle was speechless. 

However, her words reassured Henson. He told her not to oversleep and quickly hung up. 

In the evening, Emily invited Estelle downstairs for dinner, hesitating before asking, “Estelle, Charlie asked me to work for his company. Should I go?” 

“Why not?” Estelle raised her eyebrows. 

Emily replied, “I feel like I owe Charlie too much, it always feels like I’m taking advantage of him.” 

Estelle thought for a moment and said, “You’re in your senior year, so you’ll definitely need to do an internship. Why not apply to Charlie’s company with your resume? If you get hired, you can work there honestly. Once you’re working hard, it can be a way to pay back to him.” 

Emily nodded, “You’re right, I can completely rely on my own abilities to do this job. If I can’t, I’ll quit without anyone telling me to!” 

“What are you worried about then?” Estelle smiled lightly. 

Emily’s burden was lifted, and her smile relaxed quite a bit. “Then I’ll send my own resume, hiding it from Charlie until I start working and tell him then.” 

Estelle agreed, “Sounds good!” 

Saturday morning, Estelle went to the Lamont family villa. As usual, the Lamont family driver picked her up at the entrance of University of J City. 

Upon arriving, Estelle walked towards the villa. The maid recognized her and led her to the living 

room first. 

There were people talking in the living room. The maid walked ahead, smiling, “Mrs. Estelle is here!” Estelle stepped forward and saw Jonathan sitting on the sofa with a woman beside him. The woman was wearing a pale blue long dress, her curly hair falling in front of her. She looked about 25 or 26 years old, extremely beautiful, and her makeup was fresh and elegant. She was leaning towards Jonathan, laughing and chatting. 

Jonathan glanced at Estelle when he heard the maid’s voice, but quickly looked away and continued

Since it was Saturday, Janice was at home. She got up to greet Estelle, “Good morning, you’re here!” 

Estelle smiled politely and nodded, “Good morning!” 

Mrs. Lamont smuted kindly and asked Estelle to sit down. 

“Is this Henson’s tutor?” The woman speaking with Jonathan turned to look at Estelle, her eyes gentle and tranquil. 

Janice introduced them, smiling, “Yes, this is Estelle, a student of University of J City.” 

Then she introduced the woman to Estelle, “This is Yvonne. You must have seen her on TV, right?”
