Andrew tossed a green–haired guy onto the ground, panting as he stood up. “This green freak just said that Nora is the one who got them to harass Emily!”

Yvonne angrily accused, “Nora, how could you do such a thing?”

Nora cried heartbrokenly, “I was mad that Emily took Mr. James away. I just wanted to get back at her and scare her. If you hadn’t come, I wouldn’t have bullied her!”

Estelle looked at her coldly, “Emily has already been bullied like this, and you’re still making excuses?”

Nora, her tears streaming down her face, attempted to conceal her sinister gaze behind her hands. Her expression reflected deep remorse as she repeats, “I only wanted to frighten her!”

“Yvonne, if the police get involved, my life will be ruined, and my father will surely punish me!” Nora desperately clung to Yvonne’s hand, sobbing miserably. “Yvonne, please help me beg for mercy. I promise I’ll never do it again!”

Yvonne glanced at Charlie, appearing indecisive, and then turned to Jonathan. “Jonathan, those responsible for harming Emily have already been dealt with, and I will ensure that Nora faces the consequences under my aunt’s discipline. Shouldn’t we leave it at that?”

Nora continued to cry, her voice filled with sorrow. “Mr. James, I deeply regret my actions. Please forgive me for the affection we shared in the past!”

Estelle looked up and spoke coldly, “If we hadn’t come, or didn’t arrive in time, have you ever thought of stopping the bullying of Emily?”

Yvonne slowly said, “Fortunately, Emily isn’t hurt!”

Estelle’s demeanor remained frosty as she retorts, “The extent of Emily’s injuries will be determined by a medical examination. But when it comes to addressing this incident, no one besides the police has the authority to grant Nora leniency!”

Yvonne’s complexion subtly shifed, and she furrowed her brow. “Estelle, you misunderstand me. Emily is also my friend, and witnessing her being mistreated infuriates me just as much!”

Jonathan suddenly spoke, “Then what are we waiting for? Call the police!”

Charlie had already dialed the emergency number, briefly explained what happened, and reported the location.

Manley immediately called the hotel manager, “What happened?”

The manager replied, “There was an incident on the eighth floor. A girl was harassed by a group of men. Blue Oasis needs to cooperate with the investigation.”

A sense of unease filled Manley’s heart. Could it be Estelle that has Jonathan and Charlie worried?

Nanette asked Manley, “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing,” Manley said with a light smile. “It’s late. I’ll have the driver take you home. I’ve got things to do. I’ll call you tomorrow!”

“Oh, okay!” Nanette agreed, feeling very disappointed. Manley had asked her out twice, and although their relationship wasn’t clear, she knew she’d fallen for him and prepared herself to give everything to him tonight. But he had her sent home by the driver.

Manley started another car and noticed the name of the hospital on the ambulance. He stepped on the gas, speeding towards the hospital.
