The meeting room went silent for a moment. Seeing that Estelle didn’t continue, Inman asked in surprise, “That’s it?” 

Estelle nodded, “That’s it!” 

Inman was a bit taken aback, while Jessica didn’t bother to hide the disdain in her eyes, sneering at Estelle, “Did Ms. Macclain get lost? This is Snowy Studios!” 

Estelle said calmly, “Let me add something, I’m very interested in clothing and jewelry design and have learned some by myself. 

Jessica laughed coldly, “Ms. Macclain, didn’t you hear? This is the best design studio, not a place where you can self–learn your way in.” 

Estelle: “It’s precisely because this is a professional place that I came!” 

Jessica found it somewhat amusing and turned her head away. 

Carmella looked at Estelle and felt a bit schadenfreude when she saw her being mocked by Jessica. Estelle joined Snowy Studios for an interview just because her talent in drawing and design was appreciated by Simone Macclaim? Ridiculous! 

How did she get in here? 

Inman looked at Estelle’s resume and was about to say she was not suitable when the silent Jason suddenly spoke up, “Let’s end it here today. Both of you are outstanding, so both of you can stay here. It’s Friday today, you should come to work on Monday. Any questions?” 

Everyone was surprised except Estelle. 

Jessica spoke up directly, “I have a question. Snowy Studios is known for having high standards for its designers, even for assistant recruitment. But is this your high standard and requirement?” 

Jason looked handsome yet indifferent, “The standard is set by me. If I say she’s good, she can stay!” 

“I don’t think this is appropriate,” Jessica said seriously. 

Jason appeared indifferent, “You’re not qualified to decide!” 

Jessica felt embarrassed but didn’t move. 

Jason got up and walked out, “If you want to stay, listen to me. If not, don’t bother coming on Monday!” 

Jessica’s expression shifted, and an uncomfortable tension filled the conference room. 

Estelle acknowledged Inman with a nod, then abruptly stood up and departed. 

Jessica’s gaze followed Estelle’s retreating figure, her eyes filled with resentment. She let out a disdainful scoff and muttered, “I believed Snowy Studios held more promise, but it seems I greatly overestimated this place!” 

She left after her remark. 

Inman and Alice exchanged glances, shrugged in surprise, then Alice looked at the two resumes again and jokingly said to Carmella, “Carmella, both you and Estelle are from the University of J City, do you know each other?” 

Carmella was taken aback and immediately shook her head, “Not at all!” 

Inman casually said as she tidied up, “It’s normal not to know each other.” 

Carmella laughed, “That’s true, even if Estelle and I went to the same school, we didn’t know each other or even met.” 

She asked, “Inman, why did Mr. Gilder leave Estelle behind? She clearly doesn’t meet our assistant recruitment criteria!” 

Inman thought for a moment and said, “Estelle hasn’t graduated yet, so she’s here to intern. Maybe the requirements aren’t that strict.” 

Carmella speculated, “Could someone have put in a good word for her with Mr. Gilder?” 

Inman slowly shook her head, “Not likely!” 

Carmella breathed a sigh of relief, “I must have been overthinking!”
