Soon, Carson let the woman go and sat down opposite Charlie, laughing. “What’s up? Anything going on?”

Charlie looked at him, “If you like Emily, don’t be so intimate with other women, or don’t mess with Emily at all!”

Carson was surprised, “What? Emily didn’t tell you?”

Charlie frowned, “Tell me what?”

Carson lit a cigarette. “Emily made it clear to me that she doesn’t like me and won’t even be friends with me I also promised her not to bother her anymore!”

Charlie was somewhat surprised, “What happened? Did you try to date her?”

“I was rejected by her even before I get to that stage!” Carson laughed bitterly and told Charlie in detail about the conversation between him and Emily under her apartment building

Charlie thought for a while. “was it last Sunday?”

Carson nodded. “Yeah, how did you know?”

Charlie didn’t say anything, his face calm, but he was delighted inside. He told himself that Emily was still sensible and didn’t disappoint him!

Carson was a little regretful. “To be honest, I was serious about Emily, but it s a pity that we dont work out!”

Charlie’s face relaxed, smiling. ‘Are you fooling yourself? People like us can’t settle down, and even if we do, it won’t last long!”

Carson laughed, “You know yourself best That’s why people like us don’t deserve to be in love and should not harm good girls!”

Charlie glared at him, “As long as you know that!”

At this time, someone knocked on the door, Andrew’s girlfriend went to open it and saw a strange girl standing outside.

The girl looked at the door number and asked softly, “Is Mr. Charlie in this room?”

She thought the girl in front of her was here to find Charlie.

Charlie stood up and smiled, “Hello, there are no strangers here, have a seat and let’s talk!”

Carson and the others stood up and greeted Amiee, then looked at Josiah, seeing his listless appearance, they couldn’t help but want to laugh.

Josiah sighed. “We’re pretending to be in a relationship just to deal with my mom and her family. Today my mom forced me to go on a date with her I told Amiee I was busy. but she insisted on coming along”

Carson raised his eyebrows, “She looks like a cool beauty!”

Josiah sneered, “Do you like her? Why not introduce her to you?”
