Amiee frowned and explained to Estelle, “He just came over to play video games with me. It’s fine, just pretend he’s not here!” Estelle laughed, “I’ve always treated him as if he’s invisible!”

Amiee gave a meaningful smile.

Josiah shouted, “Amiee, who’s here? Who are you talking to? Come save me!”

Amiee shrugged, then turned and walked into the living room.

Josiah took off his shoes and sat in the big couch, holding his phone with both hands, looking nervous, “Damn, I got ambushed!” Amiee said, “Hey, watch your language!”

“Amiee!” Josiah looked up at Amiee, and suddenly noticed the person behind her, so he froze for a moment.

He didn’t dare to freeze too long and started playing the game again.

Amiee said to Estelle, “Come with me over here!”

Estelle ignored Josiah and followed Amiee into her small study.

Josiah finished his game and glared at Estelle, “What are you doing here?”

“I invited Estelle. Got a problem?” Amiee glared back at him.

Josiah didn’t dare to argue with Amiee and said, “Why didn’t you tell me earlier? If I knew she was coming, I wouldn’t have come!”

Amiee calmly went to her desk and said, “Well, you can just leave now!”

He sat back on the couch and sneered, “I was here first, why should I leave? I’m not leaving!”

Amiee said emotionlessly, “Then just stay there quietly and stop talking!”

Josiah felt wronged, sitting on the couch and continuing to play his game, ignoring Estelle.

Estelle was a bit puzzled. After not seeing her for a few days, it seemed like Amiee and Josiah’s relationship had improved, and Josiah appeared to be a bit scared of Amiee, behaving well in front of her.

After hanging up, Estelle went back to the study in the living room. Amiee said, “It should take about an hour to finish. I just ordered dinner. Let’s eat together!”

Estelle said, “Thank you!”

Amiee raised her eyebrows, “Don’t mention it!”

Estelle laughed and sat back in her previous position, continuing to work.

Half an hour later, the delivery arrived, and Josiah went to open the door when he heard the doorbell.

Amiee said to Estelle, “Let’s go eat first. We’re almost done!”

Josiah glanced at Estelle and snorted, “Asking Amiee for help and even stay to have dinner, how shameless!” Amiee angrily said, “If you don’t want to eat, you can leave!” 

Josiah felt very wronged, “Amiee, I’m your boyfriend!”
