Josiah was stunned and immediately asked, “Of course not, what’s wrong?” 

“Great!” Yvonne nodded, “Then tell me, what exactly is the relationship between Estelle and Jonathan?” 

Josiah couldn’t say anything for a while. 

Choking up. Yvonne said, “You knew all along, didn’t you? Even you were lying to me!” 

“No!” Josiah hurriedly explained, “Jonah doesn’t really like Estelle. I heard him say that to my brother himself! Don’t worry, Jonah will break up with her sooner or later and come back to you.” 

Trembling. Yvonne said, “So they’re really together?” 

Josiah hesitated for a moment and said solemnly, “Yes.” 

“When did it start?” 

I’m not quite sure, I only came back a few months earlier than you. At that time, Estelle was a waitress at the Midnight Bar, and Jonah would go there often. I felt something was off about them, so I asked my brother and found out they were together.” 

Covering her eyes, Yvonne’s voice was filled with shivers, “So all of you knew and just kept it from me!” 

“We didn’t want you to feel sad, and I really think Jonah and Estelle won’t last long. He doesn’t like her that much,” Josiah said worriedly. “Yvonne, don’t cry. It’s all Estelle’s fault for seducing Jonah, he was just confused at the moment.” 

Taking a deep breath, Yvonne said, “I see. Don’t tell Jonathan I called you.” 

“Don’t be sad. I promise you, Jonah likes you, he’s not serious about Estelle,” Josiah said worriedly. 

“Okay, I understand!” Yvonne grabbed a tissue to wipe the tears from her face, “Go ahead and work, I’ll hang up!” 

After hanging up, Yvonne covered her eyes with a tissue, hiding the coldness in them. 

She and Jonathan had been together for so many years, and for his sake, she had given up her career abroad to return to J City. She would not allow anyone to take him away! 

No one could take Jonathan away! 

She believed Jonathan loved her too! 

A busy week passed quickly, and on Saturday, Estelle went to the Lamont’s family home to tutor Henson. 

As agreed with the production team, she couldn’t go on Saturdays and Sundays, but they could call her anytime if they needed her. Arriving on time at the Lamont’s family home, she didn’t expect to see Yvonne in the living room. 

Shouldn’t Yvonne be on set shooting right now? 

Yvonne was talking with Mrs. Lamont, smiling gently, “Mrs. Lamont, my mom made this cake. She knew I was coming to visit you today and insisted I bring it over.” 

“It looks delicious!” Cathrine smiled lovingly. “Your mom and dad made up, right?” 

“Yes!” Yvonne smiled, “In the end, they couldn’t bear to part with me, so my mom apologized and my dad forgave her!” 

“That’s good, families are bound to have arguments. You have to be understanding of each other,” said Cathrine, laughing. Then she saw Estelle come in and called out, “Ella’s here!”
