On Monday, Estelle went back to her studio with Inman to deal with some stuff and didn’t go to the film crew until the afternoon.

Craig was so glad to see her, catching her up on the work from the past few days. Then he excitedly handed her a box of chocolates, “Mr. Hearn visited the set again at lunchtime today, and he bought lots of chocolates. I saved one for you!”

In order to please Hattie, Malloy kept coming to the film crew to buy food and drinks, giving gifts to the crew members, making Hattie very popular.

Estelle politely declined, “Thanks, but it’s fine. My boyfriend doesn’t like me eating too many sweets.”

Craig was taken aback and quickly understood that Estelle was telling him she already had a boyfriend.

He felt a little disappointed and then laughed awkwardly. “You have a boyfriend? Is he your friend from school?”

“No!” Estelle responded with a faint smile, unwilling to say more, “I’ve been away for two days, I gotta go catch up on work!”

“Oh!” Craig replied quickly, watching Estelle’s retreating figure, feeling that the fact that she had a boyfriend was unexpected yet reasonable, after all, Estelle was so beautiful that she must have had many suitors.

At four in the afternoon, Yvonne came over and called for her, “Estelle!”

Estelle looked up from her bench to see Yvonne still looking as gorgeous as ever, smiling gently as if the incident on Saturday had never happened.

Estelle nodded, “What’s up?”

“I’ve finished my scenes for the day, so I got off early. Let’s find a place for just the two of us to chat,” Yvonne suggested with a smile.

Estelle knew this day would come sooner or later, so she agreed, “Sure!”

Yvonne’s eyes moved slightly, and her voice became even softer, “I just found out you and Jonathan are together. I don’t have any prejudice against your background, I think you’re a great person with the right to pursue love.”

“Josiah told me that Jonathan said to Charlie that he was with you to kill time.” She sighed, “Jonathan wasn’t like this before, but he must have been influenced by spending too much time with Charlie!”

As Estelle held the coffee cup, her hand paused, and she looked up at Yvonne, her eyes penetrating like they could see through people.

Yvonne chuckled, “Estelle, I know you’re in the middle of a passionate romance, but there are some things that I must clarify with you, and I feel obliged to tell you.”
