Norah stared at the sunny boy she once had a thing for. That flame of love was long gone, and he was now a stranger to her. If he hadn't shown up, she wouldn't have even thought about him for a long time.

Nicolas reached out desperately, trying to grLogan Norah's hand, "Norah, your family has always been out to get me. It wasn't easy for me to come to J City, but I came!"

Because of the hostility from the Lamont family, he had no choice but to return to a remote small town. He wasn't content being stuck in that poor place, so after a few months of indecision, he came back to J City. Upon returning to J City, he asked around about Norah and found out she was waitressing at a local BBQ joint. He hung around the area for a couple of days before he managed to track her down.

When Norah saw him, she felt uncomfortable. She quickly pulled her hand away and took a step back, "Don't touch me!"

"What's going on?" Damian and the others looked over, eyeing Nicolas seriously.

Nicolas was taken aback by Norah's reaction, feeling a chill in his heart, "Norah, everything that happened before was a misunderstanding, I truly love you, I can't live without you!"

"There were no misunderstandings!" Norah said sharply, "We've broken up. Stop bothering me!"

"Norah!" Nicolas stood up and tried to approach her.

Damian and the others had already stepped in front of Norah, staring at Nicolas sternly, "Who are you?"

Nicolas hurriedly replied, "I'm Norah's boyfriend!"

"He's not my boyfriend!" Norah yelled, "We broke up a long time ago!"

"Norah!"

"Stay right there, don't move!" Damian gave Nicolas a push, saying coldly, "Dude, it's pretty low to keep bothering her after you've broken up."

Norah had been working at the store for several months and never mentioned a boyfriend, so of course, Damian believed her.

Nicolas's face went even paler. He glared at Norah with disappointment and anger, put on his mask, and left.

Xavier came out of the kitchen after hearing the commotion, "What happened?"

Damian and the others didn't know what to say, so they all looked at Norah. Norah was so angry her face turned pale. She bit her lip and didn't speak.

Xavier looked at her expression, then calmly said, "Come with me."

Norah responded with a simple "Okay," and followed Xavier to the small yard behind the kitchen.

Xavier sat on a stool, his long legs awkwardly bent. He lit a cigarette and asked, "What's up?"

Norah sat across him and, without hiding anything, told him about what happened with Nicolas.
