She knew she was being carried on someone's shoulders, bumping along the way, taking many turns, and finally entering a courtyard.

She was even more panicked. What were they up to?

Inside the BBQ joint.

After Xavier came downstairs, someone came to pay. He took the money, suddenly looked around in the lobby, and asked Damian with a frown, "Where's Norah?"

"Norah went to deliver food!" Damian said while cleaning up the table.

Xavier's face suddenly became very serious, "Didn't I ask you to keep an eye on her these days? How could you let her deliver food alone?"

Damian was taken aback, Nicolas hadn't come these days, he thought the matter had blown over, and hurriedly explained, "The order is just on the next street, it's quite close."

Xavier cut him off, "Send me the delivery address and phone number now!"

With that, he strode out the door. Xavier didn't get far from the BBQ joint before he received a message. He took a look and first made a call to the person who ordered.

The phone was off. Xavier's face sank, knowing Norah might be in trouble.

He glanced at the delivery address again, swept his gaze forward, knowing Norah would take the alley instead of the main street, and headed directly for the alley.

He was tall and walked fast. In a few minutes, he saw the the food box used for packing in the store fell on the ground, with BBQ scattered all over.

He squatted down, took a look at the mark on the bluestone brick, and knew that at least four people had kidnapped Norah. He took another close look at the trampled traces on the ground, then got up and walked quickly towards the left alley, texting Damian as he walked.

Norah was thrown into a room filled with a musty smell. Suddenly, her eyes brightened as someone pulled off the sack from her body.

Nicolas came over, tied Norah's hands and feet with a rope, and gagged her.

The room seemed to be on the second floor, with a small window, dim and cold inside. Norah's mouth was gagged, and only her eyes were glaring angrily at Nicolas.

The man in black next to her sneered, "Do you think we're idiots? You don't need to make the call. As long as you give me the phone number, someone will help you make the call."

Norah thought quickly, "Okay, I'll tell you, but you can't hurt me!"

"Speak!"

Norah gave him a phone number.

The man in black noted the number on his phone, then gave Nicolas a look and went out to make the call.

Xavier was still in the alley when he suddenly received a call from an unknown number. He picked up, "Hello?"

"Is this Mr. Jonathan?" the other party asked.
