Estelle unwrapped the bandages, frowning, "How did a bunch of nobodies hurt you this bad? Did you go soft on them?"

Xavier chuckled on the bed, "Even a thoroughbred horse may stumble, don't forget our motto, it ain't an injury if you ain't dead!"

Estelle laid his clothes aside, "Stay prone, it'll heal faster!"

Though the doctor advised Xavier to stay prone, he found it uncomfortable.

He lay sideways, "After all this, I'm sure Norah can't stay at the store any longer. The Movie Center is a mess, and she shouldn’t stay here. She wouldn't listen to me, so you'll have to convince her."

Estelle nodded, "Norah wouldn't leave before, and now that you're hurt because of her, do you think she'll leave? Let's wait until you're healed, then I'll bring it up."

"Fair enough!"

The next day, Xavier was discharged. Estelle went to pick him up from the hospital, and Norah was there too.

Norah had been feeling guilty about Xavier's injury, so she took the opportunity to apologize to Estelle, "I'm sorry, this won't happen again!"

"Don't ever tell them, or I won't be able to work at the store anymore." Norah pleaded.

Yvonne wondered, and said to her assistant, "Go get Gwen, if she's with Estelle, tell her I need to go over the lines with her!"
