Zack was staring at the eagle head for a while. His expression gradually turned serious. "Where did this come from?"

"Do you recognize this thing?"

Zack's face looked blank, "No, but there's a private organization in the underworld called Eagle Valley. The leader's code name is Snow Hawk. I’m wondering if there's a connection here.”

"Eagle Valley? What does it do?"

"They are kind of like mercenaries and do jobs for money. Eagle Valley only does legal stuff; usually border trading! They're top-notch and almost never botch a job. Of course, they charge a hefty fee."

Yvonne was curious. What did this mysterious organization have to do with Estelle?

Then she thought of Josiah. He was also acting mysterious before returning to J City. He never spilt the beans even when Jonathan asked.

She shared her doubts with Zack.

Zack speculated, "Could it be that Estelle and Josiah are both from Eagle Valley?"

Yvonne was still confused, "If they’re both from Eagle Valley, why don't they recognize each other?"

From the get-go, Josiah acted like he didn't know Estelle from Adam. Plus, he was always helping Yvonne go against Estelle because of her thing with Jonathan. Josiah clearly couldn't stand Estelle.

So, it was obvious they were not buddies!

"It’s said that Eagle Valley is super secretive, not just to the outside world, but also internally. They communicate through private channels, so members never meet face to face!"

Yvonne had a lightbulb moment, once again she looked at the eagle head in the photo, raising an eyebrow, "Private channels? Probably this software!"

"He has power in many countries. But a few years ago, he was nearly wiped out by a mysterious organization. He only started to show up again last year."

"Aren't you a peacekeeping commander? Why are you dealing with such people?"

Zack scoffed, "There are many things that even international powers can’t handle. Why should we meddle? As long as Wolverine doesn’t mess with our interests, we won’t pick a fight. Sometimes, we need to cooperate with Wolverine on some special international missions!”

Yvonne was half-confused, "So you want to use Wolverine to deal with Estelle?"

A cold glint flashed in Zack’s eyes, "Eagle Valley wants Wolverine dead. Wolverine wants to get back at Eagle Valley. We just need to pull a few strings, and Estelle will be out of the picture!”

Indeed, Yvonne knew what he meant by "out of the picture". She was both excited and worried, "Will this implicate me?"
