Emily had her eyes wide open, with tears streaming down her face, but she couldn’t say a word.

Noreen was right. They were the ones who were poor and short sighted, and they shamelessly threw themselves at her. She was spot on!

She once had a happy family too, but it was Shawn who ruined their family after getting addicted to drugs, making her mom live so lowly!

She felt sorry for her mom, who was insulted by the relatives like that! And yet she couldn’t defend her!

Next to her parked a Maybach, and Charlie sat behind the wheel, watching the young girl on the side of the road weeping.

He had seen women cry before, either sobbing loudly because of a breakup or faux–innocently, but he’d never seen anyone cry like this – no expression on her face, just silently shedding tears.

She looked so sad.

A touch of pity even rose from the bottom of his heart, wanting to ask her why she was crying so heartbreakingly?

Emily hung up the phone, ignoring Noreen still losing her temper, and wiped away the tears on her face forcefully.

She would definitely work hard to make sure her mom wouldn’t be bullied by those scumbags anymore!

Just when she was about to leave, suddenly a luxury car stopped in front of her. The window rolled down, revealing a man’s handsome and elegant face. He smiled at her and asked, “Who did you just call a jerk?”
