Five Alphas Kneel for Me (Isabella) novel Chapter 165

Chapter 165

Alexander roared through the Silvermoon Pack’s territory, his swiftclaw’s wheels screaming as he skidded to a halt outside the Miller family’s longhouse.

He ripped open the door, his fury palpable. He pulled out a crumpled pouch of dried herbs, and lit one with a silver lighter, the flame illuminating his grim face.

He looked like a shadow, a predator stalking its prey. His wolf was seething, a palpable wave of hatred.

Leaning against the swiftclaw, he inhaled deeply; the calming herbs eased his anger slightly. Squinting through the smoke, he glared at my secondstory window.

The shutters were closed, but he seemed to see through them, his gaze fixated on my form within. His teeth clenched. His wolf yearned

for vengeance.

He smoked, plotting his revenge.

In my den, only the rhythmic clicking of my commstone broke the silence. I was focused on the screen, modifying the designs Grayson had procured. I hadn’t expected him to secure them; I had sketched the competing piece on a whim.

My designs were more aligned with the Miller style, but now I was incorporating Smith’s style. My wolf was content with the challenge.

I stared intently at the screen, my fingers flying across the keyboard.

Smith’s servant spotted Alexander and recognized him; Alexander’s reputation for ruthlessness preceded him.

Seeing him staring at my window, he felt uneasy. His wolf alerted him to the danger.

Stop,a deep voice cut through the air. The servant turned to see Grayson, hands in his pockets, walking slowly towards him. Tall and imposing, even in casual attire, his innate dominance was undeniable.

His wolf was calm, confident, powerful.

Sir,the servant greeted respectfully.

Where are you going?Grayson’s gaze was intense, his presence commanding. His wolf was observant, alert.

Mr. Miller is standing outside; it’s unsettling; I wanted to ask Miss Miller how to handle it.

Grayson raised an eyebrow, a cold smirk playing on his lips.Ignore him; don’t disturb Isabella. His wolf issued the command.

The servant nodded and departed.

Grayson reached the longhouse entrance and immediately spotted Alexander, a dark figure against the night, his herb burning like a malevolent eye. Alexander’s gaze was locked on my window, dark and intense, his wolf radiating furious intent.

Grayson strolled over, his hands in his pockets, each step seemingly pressing on Alexander’s heart, making him uneasy. His wolf exuded a calm yet intimidating aura.

Mr. Miller, not sleeping? Guarding my door?Grayson stopped, a mocking smile on his lips. His wolf enjoyed Alexander’s discomfort. Alexander, feeling the weight of Grayson’s presence, gritted his teeth.

Get Isabella out!His wolf was snarling.

My mate isn’t someone you can see whenever you please, Grayson raised his chin, looking down at Alexander, his wolf asserting

dominance.

Alexander, irritated by Grayson’s condescending attitude, inhaled deeply from his herb, coughing.

He glared at Grayson, his voice sharp.

She knows she’s done wrong; she’s afraid to see me!His wolf was filled with bitterness.
