Chapter 166
Grayson’s eyes turned glacial, the cold intensity chilling me to the bone. My wolf sensed the danger, the lethal power radiating from
him.
Alexander, finding an opening, continued his venomous attack.“She reported Emily. Now we can’t even see Emily! Has she forgotten who saved her life? She dares to harm Emily!” His wolf howled silently, fueled by rage and betrayal.
Grayson abruptly flung open the longhouse door.
“Bang!” The door slammed against Alexander’s face. He stumbled back, almost falling. He covered his face, his eyes burning with unshed tears. His wolf was wounded, humiliated.
“A liar, ungrateful and shameless, treated like a treasure by you all.” His voice was laced with bitterness. His wolf snarled its pain. Grayson looked at Alexander coldly, a cruel smirk playing on his lips. “Emily lost a brother; Isabella compensated her with five!” His tone was dismissive, as if he was discussing worthless items.
It sounded like he was discarding trash. His wolf reveled in Alexander’s despair.
Alexander, wincing in pain, tears streaming down his face, still glared at Grayson. He felt it wasn’t enough! Emily’s brother was dead; they were still alive! What I owed Emily could never be repaid! His wolf echoed his rage and grief.
Grayson, as if reading his mind, smirked.“If you think five living brothers aren’t enough, I can give her a few dead ones.” His tone turned icy, a threat hanging heavy in the air. His wolf was a predator, enjoying the hunt.
“That’ll settle the score.”
Alexander’s eyes widened in disbelief, staring at Grayson as if he’d gone mad. His wolf was stunned into silence.
“Finding Isabella is useless; she doesn’t know about this. I found that woman annoying; so I sent her to the dungeons for some peace and quiet,” Grayson said casually, as if he were discussing a trivial matter. His wolf was smug, self–satisfied.
“You did it!” Alexander realized; he pointed at Grayson angrily, his voice sharp, his wolf roaring in fury.
Grayson raised an eyebrow, arrogant and unrepentant.“So?” His wolf felt supreme.
“Release her!” Alexander gritted his teeth, his wolf snarling.
“Not impossible,” Grayson suddenly smiled slyly, like a cunning predator.“Kneel and beg Isabella; if she agrees, I’ll release her.” His wolf purred with amusement.
“Can she handle it?” Alexander’s face flushed red, feeling his pride crushed. His wolf was outraged by this humiliation.
Grayson’s gaze turned icy, piercing Alexander.
“Why can’t she? She’s given you to Emily; you’re even. She’s my mate; she can endure anything she wants!” His wolf was asserting its
dominance.
Alexander’s confidence faltered.
His wolf was shaken, unsure of its path.
He was shocked.“Are you serious?”
Then he denied it.“No, impossible! Isabella…” His wolf was still in disbelief.

He wanted to curse me but stopped under Grayson’s icy glare, swallowing the words. His wolf was subdued, defeated.
Clenching his fists, his nails digging into his flesh, he knew he couldn’t beat Grayson, but he wouldn’t let Emily suffer!
His wolf would find another way.
“Fine, Grayson, you’ll regret this!” With that, Alexander left, his wolf seething with a promise of revenge.
