Chapter383.
With Grayson’s help, the influencers I’d secretly selected smoothly integrated into Emily’s White & Beauty Cosmetics- or rather,
Apothecary
operation. Emily, witnessing these renowned influencers actively seeking collaboration, addressing her as “President,” reveled in an intoxicating wave of vanity.
She floated on the belief that her Jade Porcelain Balm was a viral sensation across the Howlnet. That even these prominent influencers were so captivated, they’d accept reduced commissions to work with her,
She was confident these influencers wouldn’t suffer; as long as her product sold well, even if the commission per unit was low, their earnings would be substantial in the end. Little did she know, this was the intricate snare I’d woven for her a death trap disguised as success, leading her step by step towards ruin.
Emily burned with the desire to surpass me, to flaunt the popularity of her Jade Porcelain Balm, and to make me regret my actions.
Two weeks blurred by. During that time, the Jade Porcelain Balm flew off the shelves, fueled by the influencers‘ promotions. Production couldn’t keep pace with demand. Emily considered adding two more production lines or outsourcing.
The day Mason was released from the healer’s den, Emily clutched the latest sales report, her face alight with barely contained joy, as she journeyed to the den. Entering his chamber, she offered a gentle smile.
“Mason, congratulations on your recovery!”
She moved quickly, affectionately linking her arm with his, presenting him with a bouquet of moon blossoms and the sales report, a proud expression on her face.
“Mason, as promised, here’s the Jade Porcelain Balm’s latest sales data!”
Mason examined the report meticulously. Seeing the impressive numbers, his anxiety finally subsided.
As long as the Jade Porcelain Balm continued to sell well, he could quickly redeem the shares he’d pledged. Andrew wouldn’t discover his secret pledge.
He exhaled deeply, a rare smile gracing his lips.
“Emily, you’ve done exceptionally well. I didn’t misjudge you.”
Emily smiled triumphantly.“Of course! I’ll help you make Jade Porcelain Balm the premier brand, ensuring endless resources for your research!
Even opening an apothecary surpassing Fire’s!”
Mason pinched her nose.“You always say such things.”
They laughed as they walked toward the transport den.

< Chapter383
After returning Mason home, Emily remained close, showering him with tender care. She fed him nutrient–rich porridge, spoon by spoon, prepared by the pack servants.
Only after Mason fell asleep did Emily quietly leave, heading towards the dungeon where I was imprisoned.
Emily skillfully opened the dungeon door; the iron door creaked open with a grating sound. Jared, sensing the dungeon door open, sprang from his bed, rushing towards the door. The light from outside was harsh; he squinted, taking a moment to adjust.
The outer door was open, but an inner, cold iron gate kept him firmly captive.
Once adjusted, he saw Emily standing outside!
Jared’s pupils constricted; shock and uncontrollable rage surged through him!
“How did you get out?”
Emily stood outside the iron gate, wearing a cruel, unmasked smile. She was no longer the pitiful, vulnerable she–wolf she’d played before.
“How did I get out?” She tilted her head, feigning innocence and sweetness, but her tone was boastful.“Andrew secured my release, of course. Andrew is so kind; he wouldn’t let me suffer. Andrew is powerful; he bribed the healer’s den, obtaining a falsified certificate.”
“He even compelled those ungrateful parents to accept compensation and settle the matter, and I was freed.”
Jared felt a surge of rage, a primal urge to strangle her! Her smiling face felt utterly alien and repulsive!
“Oh, and they’ll soon report Isabella to the Pack Council for illegal practices. Then she’ll be the one imprisoned.*
Boom–something exploded in Jared’s mind. Andrew had actually done this! His rage consumed him.
“Emily! Summon Andrew here!”
He lunged at the iron gate, reaching for Emily. Emily stood at a safe distance, watching him like a caged beast.
“I told you to summon Andrew, did you hear me?!” He gripped the cold iron bars, his furious roar echoing as he shook the gate violently.
Emily dug her fingers into her ears. “I can’t hear you, even if I could, I wouldn’t summon him! Continue your raging!”
Emily reveled in Jared’s furious, almost contorted expression, savoring his helpless fury.
Her communicator chimed, breaking the moment. Emily answered, her voice impatient.“What is it?” She hadn’t finished enjoying Jared’s rage.
Her assistant’s frantic, panicked voice sounded like a storm.
“Miss Carter! It’s terrible! Something awful has happened! The influencers partnered with the Jade Porcelain Balm all have issues! Several have severe fur damage!”
Emily’s smug smile froze.“What are you saying? Fur damage? Impossible!” She instinctively touched her own
smoother, clearer fur, envying my flawless coat. Even with the two million she’d persuaded Mason to invest in creating a custom balm line and months of careful maintenance, she hadn’t achieved my flawless coat; the thought made her teeth itch with resentment. Thinking of my coat, her tone hardened.
“I use the Jade Porcelain Balm daily, and I’m perfectly fine! Did they use something else? Some she–wolves simply can’t handle superior products!”
Her assistant’s voice was choked with tears. “No, Miss Carter! To highlight the balm’s whitening effects, we made them agree to use only our products.
The product must be the cause. It’s escalated to the Pack Council; they’re blocking the entrance and won’t leave! What do we do?!”
“Contact Isabella…” Emily tried to shift the blame to me, but I was no longer connected to the Silvermoon Pack or her. That blame wouldn’t stick.
Frustration flickered across her face, but she quickly regained her composure.
She snapped, “Don’t panic over such a trivial matter! Give them some compensation, and tell them to be silent and depart! Just a few influencers, dismiss them and recruit new ones, do I need to instruct you?”
“No, Miss Carter! They don’t want compensation! They’ve posted videos on the Howlnet, inciting their followers The Howlnet is ablaze with criticism, and someone… someone has reported us to the quality inspection
committee!”
“What?!”
