Five Alphas Kneel for Me (Isabella) novel Chapter 457

Chapter457.

Julia chuckled, entering her own villa.

This villa, nestled within the Silvermoon Pack territory, was far from humble.

Grayson, a powerful Alpha of the Crimson Moon Pack, stood at the secondfloor window, his gaze fixed on the >pposite villa, his wolf’s senses keenly aware of Julia’s presence.

His wolf snarled inwardly, a low growl rumbling in his chest.

I stood downstairs, watching Grayson’s lips press into a cold, hard line.

The malevolence hadn’t faded from his eyes; his hatred for Julia, a Shewolf of significant standing in a rival pack, :lung like thorns to his very being.

His wolf pulsed with barely contained rage.

He activated his commlink, a small, silver amulet that allowed for telepathic communication within a limited

ange.

Thirty minutes later, the growl of approaching engines,

sound amplified by the enhanced hearing of his wolfform, signified the arrival of another transport.

Another supply vehicle arrived, its approach felt through the very ground.

nstantly, a flash of pure, undisguised killing intent flickered in Grayson’s eyes.

His wolf bared its teeth; what else was Julia attempting to introduce into their territory?

he vehicle, however, drove straight past Julia’s place and stopped right in front of our villa gate.

Grayson’s surprise was palpable, quickly followed by the sight of the butler opening the access point.

wo workers in overalls jumped out, unloading ten industrialsized metal drums, neatly stacking them near the

vall.

Grayson frowned slightly.

le hadn’t authorized this delivery.

hen, my figure appeared in the courtyard.

was wearing comfortable, soft pink pajamas, my hair loosely tied up; clothing chosen by his hand.

The sight of me calmed the storm brewing within his wolf.

Why was I outside?

Had I ordered this shipment?

My scent, familiar and comforting, reached him, easing his wolf’s tension.

I walked to the drums, bending down to examine them.

Then, I directed the butler to connect a power source.

Menu

I picked up a small pump, connected one end to one of the drums, and without hesitation, threw the other end of the hose over the wall into Julia’s yard.

Then, I activated the pump.

A faint hum filled the quiet night.

Liquid flowed steadily from the drums into Julia’s yard.

What was I doing?

Grayson’s breath hitched for a second.

My face showed no expression.

I was utterly calm, as if performing the most mundane task.

My wolf, however, was keenly aware of the impending action, its senses heightened.

One drum emptied.

I connected the next.

Grayson watched from upstairs, perplexed.

The contents of the drums were flowing into Julia’s yard, the scent a sharp, unfamiliar chemical assaulting his

wolf’s senses.

All ten drums emptied.

The pump stopped.

I pulled out a lightera cheap, common one..

Click.

The tiny flame danced in the breeze, casting shifting shadows on my face, obscuring my expression.

Suddenly, I looked up, directly meeting Grayson’s eyes through the window.

His heart clenched; his wolf whimpered in response to the intensity of my gaze.

With a flick of

Whoosh!

my hand, I tossed that tiny spark toward the opposite yard, now soaked with the unknown liquid.

Flames erupted, taller than a person!

The firelight illuminated the sky; black smoke billowed, its acrid smell already drifting over.

The fire spread rapidly towards Julia’s house.

The blaze ignited, and Grayson’s mind went blank.

His wolf howled in alarm.

In barely a second, he was hurtling down the stairs, bursting into the courtyard.

A wave of heat hit him, burning his face.

Grayson didn’t hesitate.

He grabbed me, standing near the flames, yanking me tightly against his chest.

He stumbled back several steps, putting distance between us and the inferno before stopping.

YouGrayson’s voice was rough with disbelief.

His wolf was frantic, sensing the danger and the immense power I had just unleashed.

He looked at the fire, then at me in his arms.

I hadI had set Julia’s house on fire! The realization struck him like a physical blow.

But I smiled, the corner of my lips quirking up.

You always solve problems for me, Grayson.

This time, it’s my turn to solve your problem.
