Five Alphas Kneel for Me (Isabella) novel Chapter 66

Chapter 66

Her fingers unconsciously twisted together.

She needed a solution; her top studentimage couldn’t be tarnished! She’d heard from her classmates that a shewolf could pass notes during the exam, and she should explore that route.

Jared walked through the training grounds, reluctantly admitting that Emily’s skills were lacking and needed more honing.

With the top eight packs battle about to start, he needed to find a replacement for her.

His wolf was restless, frustrated by the situation.

He silently blamed me, thinking it was my fault for bullying Emily and that I even didn’t want to return to the den! If I were still around, guiding Emily, she would definitely reach a level good enough to compete, and he wouldn’t have to worry about recruiting new members!

His expression darkened; this had to be my way of forcing him to let me return! I’m really getting better at playing mind games! He just won’t let me back! His wolf grumbled, a mixture of anger and longing.

As he walked, a commotion caught his attention.

A drone was stuck in the branches of a great oak, and the operator below was frantically adjusting it, the wings shaking violently but unable to break free from the leaves.

Jared stood back, watching for a moment, thoroughly annoyed by such clumsy operation.

Every time he watched Emily train, it was the same.

I wouldn’t be that stupid.

His wolf scoffed at the ineptness.

Just as that thought crossed his mind, he quickly suppressed it.

Since I left the den, he would never ask me to return.

Turning to leave, the chaotic noise of the drone suddenly stopped.

He looked back; the drone was now hovering steadily! It arced, the wings adjusting perfectly, tilting 75 degrees.

Jared’s gaze followed the drone intently, his heart racing.

His wolf was captivated by the skill.

The wings tilted slightly left and right, precisely threading through the gaps between the branches, like an arrow piercing through dense foliage!

Amazing!he couldn’t help but exclaim.

The surrounding pack members were captivated by the stunning maneuver, stopping to watch.

As the alpha of the King Pack, Jared was notoriously picky about drone operations, yet he was utterly amazed by what he saw!

He walked towards the drone, excitement in his voice.

Who are you? Your skills are incredible! I want you on my pack; let’s meet!

At the control station, I heard Jared’s voice.

I maintained a blank expression as I guided the drone back, then handed it over to my junior, Leo.

He looked at Jared’s face, unable to contain his excitement, he animatedly introduced me, Isabella, that’s the alpha of the King Pack! Your skills are amazing; you must know the drone racing circuit and Jared’s pack! He seems interested in your skills and wants you to join the pack!He was as thrilled as if he were the one being invited.

I calmly retrieved the drone.

I’m not interested in it.

The drone landed safely, and I casually returned the controller to him.

Leo finally realized he hadn’t properly thanked me, Thank you so much, Isabella!

He scratched his head, Can I get your contact info? I might need to ask you for help in the future.

No need.A low voice interrupted.

Grayson appeared beside me, his tall figure like an icy barrier.

He casually extended a hand, pulling me behind him, his tone icy, My sister is young; she shouldn’t be alone with hewolves. My wolf purred at his protectiveness.

I was already in my second year of college, twenty years old.

But at his protective gesture, I couldn’t help but smile as he took my communication device.

After all, I didn’t want to add that hewolf anyway.

Grayson took my hand and led me away.

Just then, hurried footsteps approached.

Both of us looked up to see Jared, panting as he chased after the drone, running right into us.
