Using Blessing Magic
Ethan and Dantriel were left speechless when they saw Abril bless the entire arsenal in an instant. They had had the opportunity to see how weapons were blessed, but it was nothing like how Abril had done it. One of the most talented elven princesses in the elven kingdom could only bless one weapon at a time, and the number of weapons she could bless was limited.
Both looked at Abril and asked themselves the same question.
How strong was Abril, and how much power did she possess?
Fay approached to examine the weapons, all of which had a slight glow of light over them, and he asked, “Is that all?”
“Yes, the weapons have already received the blessing of light. You can tell by the slight glow they emit,” replied Ethan.
“And how can I know they are effective?”
“You can go to the battlefield, find a monster born of darkness, and try it yourself.”
Fay was annoyed by Ethan’s response, took a long sword made of ivory, headed to the door, and said, “These weapons had better be useful.”

Maya tried to get up from bed, but Cassian stopped her.
“Don’t get up.”
“I’m fine.”
Cassian placed his hand on her cheek, caressed it gently, and said to her, “Forgive me.”
“Why are you asking for forgiveness?”
“I swore to protect you, but in the end, I was just useless. I couldn’t do anything to prevent the fairy queen from hurting you in the end.”
“I know you did everything you could, you even brought the key to the Gates of Hades. That was reckless. I’m surprised your brother allowed you to take it with you.”
“Actually, my brother doesn’t know I brought it with me.”
“Did you steal it?”
“Technically, the key is mine, so I didn’t steal it.”
“So, you did steal it, then.”

“Let’s just say I borrowed it. I’ll return it when we go back, because you’re coming back with me.”
“I still can’t believe the queen agreed to let me go.”
“There’s something I can’t understand. Why was she so reluctant to let you go?”
“Because I’m her descendant. That’s why she was willing to give you the key to the gate of Hades;
to her, I’m more valuable.”
“What?!”
“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner.”
“How long have you known?”
“Not long. Fay told me, and that’s why he got so involved between us. He saw that what I felt for you wasn’t fleeting, and that’s why he wanted to keep us apart.”
“So, are you her granddaughter?”
“I’m not really sure what we are, but I suppose her daughter was my grandmother or great–grandmother, which makes us family.”
“The queen said she’d let you go as long as you wanted to. Do you want to leave with me or stay?”
Maya gave him a soft kiss on the lips and said,
“Silly, not long ago I was willing to die if I couldn’t be with you. What makes you think I’d stay here? Discovering that the queen and I share blood ties doesn’t change anything.”
“Really?!”
“I’ve left my brother and father before to follow you. The queen and I aren’t that close, so it’s
obvious I’d choose you.”
“I can’t wait to leave this place. Being here makes me nervous.”
“I’m nervous too. Even though the fairy queen agreed to let me go, I’m still not convinced.”
“We only managed to convince her thanks to Abril. never imagined she could be so stubborn.”
“Yes, I was surprised too. Even though she’s sweet, kind, and gentle, she can be quite strong and
persistent when she wants to be.”
The sound of a knock on the door interrupted them Cassian opened it, and it was Abril.
“How is Maya doing?”
“She’s better. Do you want to come in?”
“I don’t want to intrude.”

“Don’t worry, you’re not intruding. Come in.”
As Abril entered, she saw that Maya looked better. She approached the bed and asked her.
“How are you feeling?”
“I’m fine, the pain has nearly disappeared completely.”
“Do you want me to use my healing magic on you?”
“It’s not necessary, you must be tired. You were going to bless the weapons, weren’t you?”
“I’ve already done it, and I’m fine.”
“Are you really sure?”
“Yes, really, I’m fine.”
Abril took Maya’s hand and infused her magic into it. Maya felt the pain from the queen’s
command vanish completely.
“Thank you, I feel fine now.”
“You’re welcome.”
Cassian approached and asked.
“How did blessing the weapons go?”
Clam
“I’ve done it, but the fairies are somewhat distrustful. They want to test the weapons to make sure
I did it right.”
“So, what do we do now?”
“For now, we are waiting to hear what they will say.
“Do you think they’ll want us to fight in this war?“.
Maya replied.
“Fay saw what Abril did during the war. He must have told the fairy queen, and I’m sure she’ll want
your help, Aby.”
“That wasn’t mentioned before; it was supposed to be just about blessing the weapons.”
“That was before Abril unleashed all her power and became so strong.”
“Well, let’s stop assuming things. We’ll find out later there’s no point in worrying about it now.”
Narim knocked on the door and entered without waiting for permission. She addressed Abril and said,
“Human queen, I’ve prepared a room for you. Please, let me guide you.”

Abril didn’t want to keep interrupting Maya and Cassian’s time, she said.
“Great, I can rest a bit. See you later, guys.”
When Abril passed by Cassian, he said to her.
“If you need anything or if something happens, don’t hesitate to tell me.”
“If I need anything or if something happens, you’ll be the first to know.”
