Upon entering, Barto saw a young man with red hair sitting behind a desk, head bowed as he reviewed some documents.

“Greetings, Your Majesty, King Venobich.”

“Do not mention my surname; when you do, it feels like you’re talking about my father, not me.”

“I apologize, Your Majesty, it was not my intention to offend you.”

Enzo cast a weary glance at Barto. No matter how he looked at him, Barto did not seem like a messenger

but rather a knight.

“You mentioned you have a letter for me, one of great importance. Where is the letter, and who sent it?”

Barto took the letter from his bag and placed it on the desk in front of Enzo.

“This letter is from your sister, Queen Abril.”

Enzo did not have a good relationship with his sister, but in those times of war, it was beneficial to have her on his side. He opened the letter.
