Chapter 344
You wouldn’t believe this pack was attacked by a murderous witch a year ago.
Everything is pretty much back to normal. Griffon and Aspen finally marked each other after she made him work for it for awhile.
Dallas and Nick, finally got everything figured out and are happy as could be. Even Nick admitted that it wasn’t really fair, considering he knew what he signed up for when he agree to mate a gamma.
Finn and Randy left the pack to travel; they still come back to visit every few months. I’ve even heard rumors of a possible mate where their concerned, but I don’t have any details yet.
Cole and Hazel have both come to an understanding with Griffon and things are finally better between all of them.
Heather had her baby and we were so excited to meet her. And to introduce Heather to her new baby brother, Jessie.
After all the heartache and pain, we all made it through, and I honestly can’t believe it.
“Hot dog or hamburger?” Liam asks from the grill, Jessie nestled against his chest.
I think he’s making up for all the time he wasn’t there with Griffon and Heather, he hardly ever puts that boy down. I smile, “Hot dog.” I tell him.
I turn to Mia, taking a sip of wine. She smiles, “Wouldn’t have been able to picture this life a year ago.” She whispers, her eyes falling to the ground.
I scoff, “Not remotely. I wasn’t even sure Jessie would have a chance to live.” I whisper, grabbing for her hand.
She nods, “You’re the strongest person I’ve ever known, Amy.”
I laugh, “All I had to do was sit back and wait. You guys had the hard part.” I purse my lips to the side.
She leans closer, “I don’t think there’s anything easy about what you went through, and out of all of us, you’re the only one with lasting effects of her torture.” She whispers, and I swallow roughly, leaning back in my chair.
She’s talking about the nightmares, the moments where I can’t move, can’t breathe, just frozen in fear, for no
reason.
“It’s getting better.” I whisper, taking my hand from hers and wrapping it around my wine glass. She nods, “I’m here.”
I nod, “I know.”
Griffon walks over handing me my plate and I take it with a thank you. Once everyone’s sitting down, Aspen stands up,
“We’re pregnant!” She announces to the group, and everyone starts congratulating them.
Once I pull away from hugging Aspen, Liam pulls me into his side. “You okay, Angel?” He whispers, and I give him a wide smile. “I’m so happy, Liam.”
