He wore a dark blue shirt today, sleeves still rolled to his elbows. His hair glowed softly under the sunlight He stood there as if he had just stepped off the cover of some fashion magazine.
Margaret’s breath caught for a moment.
“WOW-” Primo’s voice rang out in her mind, drawing out the word. “Host, he’s even hotter today And this time I’m seeing it clearly.”
Margaret rolled her eyes internally. “Amateur.”
Cheiron heard the noise and turned around. When he saw her, something flickered in those pale gray eyes -but it was gone before she could name it.

Margaret held up the bag in her hand. “Had breakfast? I brought you two meat pies.”
Inside, her heart was bleeding. These meat pies were so expensive that she had only allowed herself to eat two. She brought Cheiron the other two. The only reason she was willing to part with them was that Cheiron was an SSS-class big shot, and she figured she should be friendly.

Margaret blinked. Then she smiled. She walked over to the sofa and plopped down. She looked back at him with a teasing smile. “What’s this, Mr. Jewett? You interested in me?”
Cheiron didn’t even look up. He acted like he hadn’t heard her remark at all.
Margaret made a complaint in her mind.
This guy is way too cold.
She couldn’t be bothered to talk anymore. She pulled out her new portable Holo-bracelet, opened a video app, and got ready to kill the boring hour by watching videos..
But then Cheiron picked up the file. He looked at it for a moment, then raised his eyes to her and spoke,

There was a female I knew before.” he said. “Her spiritual power also fluctuated suddenly-jumped from C-class to S-class.”
Margaret’s fingers paused. She looked up. A flicker of unease ran through her. The bio-terminal shouldn’t have detected that her spiritual power had already risen to S-class yet. At most, it would have just registered some fluctuations.
