Margaret almost laughed at how much Primo was chattering. She had a feeling Primo was talking so much on purpose-just to prove how useful it was.

She played along and gave it a compliment. “How do you know everything?”

Primo perked up instantly. “Of course I do. I’m your symbiotic system. My job is to help you explore this world. Gathering information is the most important part. Oh, and I also checked Cheiron’s/schedule for today.”

Margaret smiled and kept walking, “I thought you said his file was top secret. How can you check his schedule?”

Primo’s laugh was full of meaning. “His file is confidential, sure. But his schedule is public. I just searched it online. At the villa yesterday, I connected to the home network and looked it up right away. He’s in his office from nine to eleven in the morning, handling documents. He has a meeting at two in the afternoon and a banquet in the evening. If you go now, you’ll catch him.”

“Why are you checking his schedule?” Margaret wasn’t sure why, but Primo’s way of talking-its tone, its manner-felt more and more human.

“What?” Margaret stopped walking.

Margaret let out a frustrated laugh.

Then she suddenly remembered-she still had to go to the hospital’s Spiritual Power Department for that re-examination.
