Scarlett’s POV

I glanced at the retreating figures of the Crescent Moon warriors, along with the few remaining Blackblood warriors who had debated earlier whether they would continue to fight with us after all, I was the one who killed their Alpha. But after seeing that the more they tried to fight to get their revenge, the more they watched their fellow warriors fall to the ground, they finally gave up.

That’s why they didn’t hesitate and turned their backs, running for their lives while avoiding the bombs that were detonated by Alpha Draco behind them, throwing grenades directly at them.

Meanwhile, my eyes happened to fall on Alexander, who had been dragged by Faye to escape but didn’t move. His eyes were locked on mine, and there was a crazy obsession in his gaze that made my stomach

churn.

It would be better if the Crescent Moon warriors could throw them down so that he would no longer mess with usalong with that Luna of his, who was gritting her teeth, glaring at me sharply as if she couldn’t wait to kill me.

However, a massive shadow blocked my view, making me pause and look up at him.

Lucien.

His towering wolf form loomed protectively before me, muscles rippling beneath bloodmatted fur. His silver eyes burned like fire as he leveled his gaze at Alexander, his growl vibrating in the air.

Then, with a low growl, he threw back his head and howled.

And suddenly, Alexander’s palace was bombed right then and there. Alpha Draco had responded immediately after hearing Lucien’s command.

I coldly watched as Alexander’s gaze lingered on me before he turned and ran, while Faye was carried by the servants. I noticed Faye’s eyes were red from pain and anger. I just let out a heavy sigh.

This war should be warning enough for them, right? If they still don’t stopwell, for now, they surely won’t be able to mess with us. After all, they’ll have to face the anger and hatred of their own warriors after she lied to them and twisted the story, leading them to believe her words.

As the battlefield slowly quieted, my gaze swept over the fallen warriors. A dull ache twitched in my heart.

My eyes happened to fall on Arnold, who seemed to be scolding Nick. Nick still had an emotionless expression, which only ignited Arnold’s anger as he took a cloth, ripped it, and tied it to Nick’s shoulder, trying to stop the bleeding.

I looked at the towering shadow beside me.

Let’s go back home and tend to the warriors, Lucien.”

He stepped closer, his massive wolf lowering himself. His muzzle brushed against my cheek in a gentle nuzzle, his golden eyes searching for me. I wanted to smile at him, to tell him I was finebut my body

By the time I woke up, I noticed I was alone in the room. I took a deep breath as I wretched my band ter

I climbed out of bed, went to the bathroom to do my morning routine, and cleaned myself thoroughly before leaving the bathroom, fully refreshed. After all, I could still remember the blood on my bodythe blood of

enemies.

I let out a heavy sigh and happened to pass by the mirror, letting my eyes fall on my shoulder and hands.

Now that I noticed it, my brows furrowed. I clearly remembered that I had been wounded by Alpha Lars while protecting my stomach at that time. I’d had so many wounds that I could even see my bones peeking through and it had hurt so much.

Buthow strange. My wound had healed and my skin was now flawless, not even a trace of scars.

Did Lucien use his blood on me again?

I stopped thinking about it. Anyway, I could just ask him later if I saw him.

Right, my child.

My hand gently fell onto my stomach and I noticed that I could feel the bump of my belly.

Weird.

I didn’t think that I had eaten while I was asleep, right? I don’t think I would sleepwalk to the kitchen for food. And besides, I’m so hungry I could hear my stomach grumbling.

I hurriedly changed my clothes and didn’t think much more about it as I opened the door to go out.

LLuna?!

I almost stumbled. I looked at the two warriorsCarrick and Shunwhose eyes were wide as they blinked,

What they say? I asked.

They and you were fine and just sleeping, but Alpha didn’t believe them. He believed it must have been Gora MunNerader and Fayewho did it and was about to kill Alexander, but Kathleen stopped him and told him to remain calm because she believed you would wake up. Shun said.

I praised. And what happened?

The Crescent Moon is now led by Coby, who said that he is your second arm and for the meantime, he will handle the Crescent Moon, Carrick answered calmly.

My eyes widened, What

I remembered that I told them they could do whatever they wanted with Crescent Moonand it was still fresh in my memory as if I had said it yesterday, but who would have thought that they actually managed to make Alexander and Faye leave the pack.

How did they do it?I asked, taking a deep breath while massaging my temples, still trying to process all the sudden information I’d received.

This is stressing me out.

Well, from what I heard, Alexander lashed out in anger at Faye after learning she had deceived him into trying to kill you and pushed her against the wall, which led to Faye’s bleeding. Faye gave birth prematurely.

My mouth dropped open. I was too stunned to speak.

I thought that was already shocking, but Garrick continued. However, it was confirmed by a physician who
