Chapter 1
It wasn’t until my dirt poor boyfriend and I started talking inarriage that I discovered the truth he was actually the missing heir of Manhattan’s wealthiest dynasties!
The day his father brought him home, a check was thrown in my face.
“Four million. Walk away from my son. He’s already engaged.”
My eyes fell on the woman beside them a totally Upper East Side perfection-gorgeous, elegant, everything money could buy,
She draped herself against her Ferrari, wrapped in expensive fur, flashing Darius a victorious smile.
“Let’s go home, darling,” she purred.
Her eyes swept over me dismissively. “Look at this poor little thing. What man would want her?”
Tears burned my eyes as I jerked away from his grip, backing away step by step.
But the next second, my usually cold boyfriend suddenly collapsed to his knees, grabbing my arm desperately:
“Why! You promised you’d never leave me when I was washing your undies! You promised!!!”
Knock Knock.
When the noise erupted outside, I was riding Darius.
Sweat dripped down my face, my hair a complete mess as I bounced up and down with each movement, legs burning from exhaustion.
Thank God for that knocking.
“Someone’s here-I should go check.”
I tried to climb off him, but his hands locked around my waist, voice all rough and demanding.
“Nah-uh. We made a deal. Quit now, double punishment later.”
Bastard!
I was about to lose it.
“Please, I’m sorry I bragged about my stamina! Just pretend I don’t exist and let me go!”
“Please~”
Darius gave me that lazy, half-lidded look, cheeks flushed, eyes dangerous.
“Already tapped out? My turn then.”
In one swift move, he flipped me onto my back.
The bed shook violently.

Knock! Knock! Knock!
The knocking got more aggressive, like some kind of endurance contest with Darius’s patience,
Finally: they won. Darius totally cracked, his voice a frustrated growl.
“Who the fuck??”
I scrambled off the bed, grabbed my robe, and bolted for the bathroom on shaky legs.
When I came out clean, dressed, barely functional-two random middle aged guys had invaded our living room.
One in a designer suit was literally hugging Darius’s leg, full on ugly crying.
“Young master? Twenty four years! I finally found you?”
