Chapter 4
Sebastian stormed into the bedroom, eyes wild and bloodshot. “Hades! Where the hell is my wife?! I’m taking her
home!”
Hades yanked the blanket up around me and moved to block the bed. “What’s your deal? You want your wife, go look at your own damn place. Get out.”
“The cars got switched yesterday! Gianna ended up here by mistake! Where is she?! Which room?!”
Watching him spiral, Hades let out a slow smile and shifted just enough to show the deep scratches raked down his
bare back.
Sebastian froze. His eyes locked on those marks. “You…”
The word strangled in his throat. I could practically hear his heart hammering from across the room. His gaze dragged toward the bed, barely visible through the dark curtains.
“My wife sleeps in my bed. Where else would she be?”
Sebastian’s lips trembled. Nothing came out.
I spoke up then, voice still rough and sleepy. “Baby, who is it”
That did it. Sebastian looked like he’d been shot. Stumbled backward, barely staying upright.
The butler reached out to steady him. Sebastian shoved him off violently. “Don’t touch me!”
He spun back to Hades, face twisted in rage. “You knew! You knew about us! How could you-how could you fucking
touch her?!”
“Gianna! Gianna, it’s me! Come out here! Did he make you-?!”
He lunged forward. Hades slammed a boot into his gut. Sebastian doubled over, gasping.
“Don’t come in here acting crazy.”
Hades’ voice went cold as steel. “And you wanna know who sent her here? Take a wild guess.”
Sebastian’s face went pale, then red. His jaw clenched so hard I thought his teeth would crack. “You knew from the
start?”
Hades didn’t answer. Just smirked.
“Now get out.”

“Not without her
Sebastian charged. They collided hard, fists flying, neither halding back. Blood appeared almost instantly across
Sebatian’s face
I grabbed a robe and rushed out.
By the time I got there, Hades had Sebastian pinned against the wall, arm wrenched behind his back
The second Sebastian saw me, he went wild. “Glanna! Baby come here! Let me take you home?”
His eyes were desperate, pleading-like he actually gave a damn about me.
I stayed calm. “What about Natalie? What are you planning to do about her?”
Sebastian’s expression froze.
“Last night… I was drunk. Thought she was you. We… it happened.”
“But I’ll fix it! You’re the only one I want! I’ll kick her out-she won’t affect us at all!”
I cut him off. “Don’t bother. I’m not going back.”
“What?! Are you insane?!”
Pure panic now. “How am I supposed to explain this to Gramps? To Mom? She gave you that family heirloom on her
deathbed-”
I smiled bitterly. “Why bring that up? You already gave that jade bracelet to Natalie.”
All the blood drained from Sebastian’s face. He clearly didnt think I knew.
“That night at the club, I heard everything. I played along with your whole scheme. Consider my debt to you paid.”
“Now leave.”
He couldn’t find words. Finally understanding why I’d been acting so strange lately.
I walked over to Hades and gently touched his split lip. “Does it hurt? Let me grab the first aid kit.”
He caught my wrist, about to pull me back toward the bedroom when Old Man Hawk came barging in with his entire entourage.
Seeing me standing next to Hades, the old man looked like he was about to have a heart attack. His hand shook as he pointed at Hades. “You bastard! That’s your brother’s wife! How dare you-!”
Sebastian grabbed onto his father like a drowning man. “Da! Dad, please! Gianna was supposed to be mine! She
