Gold Moon Mated To The Beta Twins (Meadow) novel Chapter 463

Chapter 463 Only Teach You Three Moves

Inside the training room, Joey was sprawled out on the floor.

Stella popped open the small wooden box with the plain plant essence using her fingertips, crouched down next to Joey, who looked totally spaced out, and held it out to him. “Eat it.”

“What’s this?” Allan asked.

Joey weakly stared at the little yellow beans in the box.

Stella shot him a lazy glance, clearly not interested in explaining. Joey gave a weak cough, grabbed a small handful, and shoved them into his mouth.

In an instant, he felt a rush of warmth flood through his limbs.

He felt instantly refreshed.

He ate one and went completely silent.

“My basics really suck,” Joey sighed after a moment.

Stella stood up and gave him a nudge with her foot. “Get up.”

Joey did.

‘I’m pouring my heart out here!’ Joey thought.

‘So heartless!’ he muttered inwardly.

He felt like flipping the table in frustration.

But his body was far more obedient than his mouth, and he scrambled to his feet in a flash.

“Joey, I’m only teaching you three moves,” Stella said coolly, grabbing some boxing wraps from the side to make sure she wouldn’t go all out and accidentally hurt him.

She started wrapping them around her hands, one layer after another.

After finishing one roll, she glanced up at Joey with those innocent college kid eyes, paused for a couple of seconds, then grabbed another roll and kept wrapping.

Joey swallowed nervously. “Only three moves? Seriously?”

“Only three?” Stella shot him a look, the corners of her lips lifting into a half-smile. “That’s more than enough.”

Joey was stunned.

Stella loosened up her hands, making sure she wasn’t about to go overboard, then called out, “Fabian.”

“Ms. Carter,” Fabian replied, stepping out from the shadows.

Joey nearly jumped out of his skin. “Holy crap!”

‘Where the hell did this giant come from?’ Joey thought, totally shaken.

His gaze darted between the dark corner and Fabian, his brain completely short-circuiting.

Stella turned to Fabian. “Go up against him using Perry’s moves.”

Fabian nodded. “Yes!”

Joey’s jaw dropped.

A minute later, there came a bang.

Joey got hit with that same humiliating back slam, the one he’d never be able to forget, and was smashed into the floor with a heavy thud.

“Oh…shit…” Joey groaned, his head spinning.

Joey’s mind was buzzing, totally dazed.

“Joey, pay attention,” Stella said sharply.

The next moment, Stella’s calm voice echoed in Joey’s ears. Suddenly, a jolt of fear ran through him, every hair on his body standing straight up. He instinctively held his breath, watching as Stella switched into fight mode, his scalp tingling with nerves.

“Report!” Roy saluted.

Hudson gave him a warm smile. “Come in.” He got up, walked over to the water dispenser, and got Roy a cup of water.

“Roy…” Hudson began.

As he handed the paper cup to Roy, who was standing ramrod straight, Hudson barely got the words out before Roy interrupted him.

“General Hudson, I can’t accept that!” Roy said firmly.

Hudson was totally confused.

He asked, “Disagree with what?”

Roy tightened his grip on the paper cup, his expression steely with a hint of disdain. “I absolutely won’t agree to Noe going easy on that rookie!”

Hudson was at a loss for words.

Roy said, “This training base isn’t a playground for kids. If you don’t have what it takes, you might as well just go home!”

Hudson said, “Roy…”

Roy sprang up, pride written all over his face. He’d always had issues with the way the higher-ups assigned the Blaze instructor, and now he was determined to show them what real strength looks like.

He put the paper cup back on Hudson’s desk. “General Hudson, I’m heading back to train Noe!”

With that, he turned and walked out.

Hudson was shocked.

‘What a bunch of stubborn mules!’ Hudson grumbled inwardly after quite a while.

Night fell.

An explosive piece of news sent shockwaves through Jaffina.

Matthias had successfully reached a cooperation agreement with Dorestan Bank. In exchange, Dorestan Bank would acquire Reed Group, marking the start of its Jaffina branch.

Dorestan Bank was the world’s most mysterious bank, with the highest cybersecurity rating on the planet.

Both Dorestan Bank and Dorestan Exchange were privately owned, and the mastermind behind them controlled nearly 60% of the world’s wealth.

Everyone was blown away at the news.

‘How the hell did Matthias get so lucky that he managed to land a deal with Dorestan Bank?’ people were all thinking.

At Reed Group, the entire building was blazing with lights.

Matthias was gathered with the Reed Group higher-ups and several blond, blue-eyed international guests.

“Mr. Reed, pleasure doing business with you!” he said.

As Matthias signed his name on the authorization documents with a steely resolve, Yegorov, the representative from Dorestan Bank, smiled and reached out his hand.

Cold sweat soaked straight through Matthias’s back.

Just like that, he handed over the Reed Group, his grandfather’s legacy.

“Pleasure doing business with you!” Matthias replied.

But soon enough, Matthias forced a smile onto his face. Even if he had to sell the Reed Group to an outsider, there was no way in hell he’d ever let Allan get his hands on it.

So what if Allan had Nova Group backing him? Nova Group might be filthy rich, but compared to Dorestan Bank, they were nothing. No one could compete with that kind of power.

There came a buzz from a phone.

Before Matthias could finish gloating in his head, a text popped up on Yegorov’s phone. Yegorov’s face lit up with a look of surprise, right on cue. “Congratulations, Mr. Reed.”

Matthias froze. “What?”

“Our CEO will be coming to the signing event in person tomorrow. Feel free to let the media know and invite them to cover it,” Yegorov said with a smile.

“Are you for real?” Matthias froze for a second, then nearly jumped out of his seat, absolutely ecstatic.

Yegorov replied, “Yeah, for real.”

“Awesome, awesome, awesome! I’ll get someone to notify the media right now!” Matthias blurted out, barely

able to contain his excitement.

He shot a look at the head of PR, who instantly whipped out his phone and started blasting the news to every reporter in his contacts.

The CEO of Dorestan Bank, an even bigger enigma than the three founders of Nova Group, was actually going to show up in person at the Reed Group acquisition signing tomorrow?
