Chapter 462 I’m Sticking with Boss
People were sprawled all over the floor in front of the counter.
The robbers’ limbs were twisted at impossible angles, joints popping out, and they cried out in pain, begging for mercy.
Off to the side, Joey was so shocked he felt like his soul had left his body.
As he just stared at the girl perched on the counter, who was unloading the magazine with one hand, his mouth hung open, looking completely dumbfounded like he’d lost all his wits.
One by one, bullets were pushed out by her fair fingers, hitting the floor with a chilling clatter.
To Joey, the phrase “total badass” had just become a living, breathing reality.
“You guys know exactly what to say when the time comes, right?” Stella shot them a cold, bored glance, her tone dripping with indifference.
Stella looked up, her eyes icy and her voice casual, as if she couldn’t care less.
The robbers felt a chill run down their spines and nodded frantically, like chickens pecking at feed.
‘We get it! We get it!’ they screamed in their heads, panic written across every line of their faces.
Joey was confused.
‘Where’s all that tough-guy attitude you had when you were robbing the bank? Now look at you, he thought, rolling his eyes.
The bank’s metal shutter was suddenly pushed up from the outside with a clang.
Stella froze for a split second, then, without saying a word, stuffed the rest of the guns into Joey’s arms.
Joey just stood there, eyes wide, totally lost.
‘What the heck are you doing?’ he thought.
Joey looked down and saw the magazine in his hands, and his eyes nearly popped out of his head in shock. He was just a spoiled rich kid who solved everything with cash. Guns? He’d never even held one in his life.
Not far off, Sebastian and his crew made their entrance, sunlight blazing behind them like some kind of action
movie.
As soon as they got close, the robbers, who were supposed to be the scary ones, started wriggling on the floor in contorted, pitiful shapes, tears and snot running down their faces, looking like they’d just been rescued by their own moms.
“Where the hell have you been?!” one of the robbers bawled, practically sobbing with relief.
The backup cops were just… speechless.
‘Uh… what the hell?’ one of them thought, totally thrown off.
‘Did they really just say that?’ another cop wondered, baffled by the scene.
Sebastian glanced over at Stella, suspicion in his eyes. Stella just raised an eyebrow, sat up straighter, and said, “I didn’t do anything.”
He was totally sure of himself, like he hadn’t done anything wrong at all.
Everyone stood there, dumbfounded.
Then they all turned to the robbers, lying there bruised and battered.
No one broke the silence.
Sebastian didn’t say a word.
Behind him, Vincent finally mustered up the courage to ask, “So… what do we do with them?”
Stella hopped down from the counter and canally walked toward the robbers, looking completely unfazed.

Chapter 462 I’m Sticking with Boss
The robbers, already scared out of their wits, started trembling even harder, wishing they could just huddle together and bury their heads in the sand like ostriches.
Everyone stood there, dumbfounded.
‘No way she didn’t do anything, everyone thought, exchanging glances.
Stella nudged the robber boss with her foot, her tone casual and mocking. “Well? I’m asking you.”
She looked utterly irreverent, like the whole thing was just a joke to her.
The robbers all blurted out in perfect sync, “We did this to ourselves!”
Right after, they shot nervous side glances at Stella. The moment she glanced their way, they scrambled to put on their most eager, bootlicking grins.
“You guys… did this to yourselves?” Perry finally snapped out of his shock from seeing Stella and Joey here, his voice ringing out in disbelief.
“Seriously? Is there some law that says bank robbers aren’t allowed to trip and fall during a heist?” the robber boss blurted out, practically scrambling to answer.
The robber boss rushed to reply, panic written all over his face, terrified he’d get smacked if he was even a second too slow.
Perry was nearly amused at his words.
‘These robbers are just ridiculous, Perry thought, rolling his eyes.
“Knock it off!” Noe snapped, his tone ice-cold.
The robbers looked like they’d just been wronged by the whole world.
‘What else do you want from us? We’re already lying here in pieces!’ they thought, completely defeated.
Off to the side, Joey couldn’t help but roll his eyes, thinking, ‘Seriously, these guys are unbelievable.’
“Where are the guns?!” Noe barked again.
The next second, every single robber whipped their heads around in perfect sync, all staring at the same spot in dead silence.
Everyone followed their gaze, and found that Stella simply raised an eyebrow, her face blank. “What are you looking at?” she said, her voice flat.
The robbers shook their heads frantically, their necks bobbing like bobbleheads.
‘Terrifying’ they thought, chills running down their spines.
“They’re all here!” Joey blurted out, his voice a little shaky.
Joey dropped all the guns onto the floor with a smack, glancing at Noe’s icy stare and snorting under his breath.
Everyone stood there, confused.
The whole thing was so weird, the SWAT guys who’d rushed in felt like they were just here for decoration.
It seemed they were totally useless.
“Take them away,” Sebastian said, glancing sideways as he gave the order, his lips pressed into a thin line.
Eliel looked down at the pile of bodies sprawled across the floor.
‘There’s no way we’re carrying them out. Guess we’ll have to drag them,’ he thought, feeling utterly helpless.
The whole crew walked out of the bank.
Stella casually walked side by side with Sebastian, looking totally unfazed, while Noe and Perry shot her annoyed looks, clearly not happy about it.
‘Seriously, what makes her so special?’ Noe and Perry both grumbled inwardly, glaring at Stella.
Noticing their unfriendly stares, Stella shot them a lazy look and locked eyes with both of them.

‘Interesting, she mused, her expression unreadable.
“Sebastian,” Stella called out, her tone casual.
She spoke just loud enough for Noe and Perry to catch it.
“Hmm?” Sebastian paused mid-sentence with Vincent, turning to look at her.
“Hand,” Stella said, cool as ever.
She made it sound like it was nothing.
Sebastian was stunned.
Even though he had no idea what was up, he still reached out to her while chatting with Vincent.
Stella just reached out and took his hand like it was the most natural thing in the world.
Their fingers intertwined, hands locked together.
Noe, Perry and the rest of the SWAT team were all shocked.
‘Man, this is awesome! This is exactly the kind of thrill I live for!’ Joey thought, practically buzzing with
excitement.
Once everything was wrapped up, Sebastian waved everyone toward the cars. After everyone was settled, he turned around, his gaze sweeping right past Stella and landing cold and hard on Joey.
Joey felt embarrassed.
Joey shuffled his feet, trying his best to hide his six-foot frame behind Stella.
“I was wrong!” Joey blurted out, his voice shaking.
When it comes down to it, staying alive is way more important than saving face. Besides, his father already froze all his cash. If he dared to go home now, his father’s mouth would be deadlier than an AK, and he’d get roasted alive.
Sebastian stared Joey down, his face stone cold. Under that kind of pressure, Joey’s cocky grin vanished in a
heartbeat.
“I swear, I messed up!” Joey blurted out, his voice shaking.
This time, Joey was all business, with no jokes and no nonsense.
“From now on, I’m sticking with you, Big Boss! I’ll follow every order you give! I’ll do whatever you say, no questions asked!” Joey promised, practically begging.
Honestly, he had already been kicking himself over what happened at the bar last night.
But sending the military dogs to him was still brutal. Even for the Boss, that was unacceptable! Joey couldn’t help but grumble to himself.
Sebastian’s face was ice-cold. “When we get back, we’re doing a ruck march. Got a problem with that?”
Joey looked terrified.
“Uh… I mean…” he muttered, sneaking a look at Sebastian. “I might actually drop dead.”
Sebastian’s lips barely moved. “Or do you want to drop dead right now?”
