“Stop staring, it’s creepy and I am not able to concentrate. If you get a cut then don’t blame me later.” Tessa eyed me while she was doing her best to stay focused.
“I am not staring.” I defended myself..
She helping me with shave. I’d not lie, our close proximity, her sweet fragrance had intoxicated me. No matter how hard I tried to breathe normally, I wasn’t able to do it.
She had a magnetic effect on me.
I looked side ways so she could do her job properly. Once she shaved my face, she also helped me to clean my body
since I wasn’t allowed to shower.
Her face was red while she was trying her best to confident.
“Thanks, I feel like a civil human now.” I said when I looked at myself in the mirror.
There were bruise marks on my face and body but with time, they’d fade.
“Take rest, I’ll ask Kelly to prepare healthy food for you.” She said quietly and about to leave the room but I didn’t want her to leave.
“Tessa, can we talk for a minute?”
She halted and turned around to glance at me with a frown.
“Please, sit.” I offered her because it’d be a long conversation which I had been thinking to initiate with her for a while.
“Logan, what do you want to discuss?” She asked looking clearly hesitated.
“Tessa, the accident was nearly a death experience for me. It forced me to take some decision, Life is unpredictable. I felt very close to death.” I spoke and paused for a moment.
Her expressions softened.
“I mean it, Tessa.”
“Don’t speak about death like this. The God saved you and you should use this second chance at life with caution and avoid making same mistakes.” She said.
I nodded my head in agreement,
“Yes, and that’s why I called my lawyer in the morning and asked him to prepare my will. I want to divide my assets between you and the kids. If something happens to me in the future, nobody will be able to treat you and our kids in the same way as your uncle and aunt did.”
She looked up at me with a stunned expression.
“Logan…”
She opened her mouth to say something but I beat her to it because I only wanted her to listen to me.
“I want to live peacefully, Tessa. I know my kids need me and I can’t imagine a life without my family.” I said

with honesty.
“Then be more careful and know who is your friend or enemy.” She commented and it made me smile.
“Yes, that’s also important but on a serious note, I am asking you this,” I said and smacked my lips.
“Don’t refuse to take anything from me. I know you are an independent person and I really appreciate your hard work and passion. But you are my legal spouse. You are my wife, Tessa and it makes you a rightful share holder of my assets. Please, allow me to transfer a few properties including this house and 22% stocks share in my company.”
I told her what I have initially planned for her.
She blinked her eyes. I could notice that she was trying to blink her tears away.
“I don’t think I can accept this, Logan. Please, don’t take it otherwise. It just too much for me to accept. I can earn enough for myself and I don’t know what future holds for us. So, don’t take any decision yet.” She replied cautiously.
I frowned.
“I don’t get you, Tessa. Please, be honest with me what’s really going on in your mind?” I asked her directly.
She took a deep breath and looked deeply into my eyes.
