PART–088
Tessa
“Lea, if you are here to fight with me then excuse me. I have no interest in entertaining your ego.” I said to my sister–in–law who stood with crossed hands.
“Oh, so you will show me attitude, huh?” Lea walked towards me.
My defence mode was on alert because I couldn’t trust women like his mother, sister and Raelynn or my aunt.
“Lea, we can talk in a civil manner. I am sure Logan isn’t aware of your surprise visit.” I said as calmly as I could.
“Oh, come on, you think you can blackmail me by mentioning my brother. You are wrong, Tessa. It’s good that I came here on time and saw your real face. What can I expect from a woman like you?” She looked at me with disgust.
“Lea, watch your words.” I glared her.
“Please, except that you love to do two timing. After all, both are rich men and if my brother leaves you, Adrian Mcnight will be your next toy.” Lea said with so much disdain.
“Enough!” I closed my eyes and raised my voice.
People like her wouldn’t understand a civil language.
“Tessa Vance, just accept that you’re a wh*re who can jump on any men’s lap.” She spatted more venom and it was the end of my patience.
With all my might, I slapped her. It was so intense that the sound resonated in the air.
She rubbed her left cheek, her eyes teary and face red with both the impact and anger.
She opened her mouth to say something but I beat her to it.
“My silence isn’t my weakness, Lea and you compelled me to do something which I would never do. How can you question someone’s character just because you hate them?” I asked her.
“You bitch!”
She growled like a furious cat and about to launch at me but someone came between us to shield me.
“Lea, what are you doing here when I strictly told you to stay away from Tessa?”
It was Logan who asked his sister coldly.
Upon seeing her brother, Lea’s expressions changed immediately.
She started sobbing hysterically.

“Logan, she…she slapped me.” Lea complained to her brother.
Logan slightly tilted to glance at me.
“She questioned my character and it was out of the line. I am sorry but I don’t regret it all.” I said in my defence because I didn’t see any need to explain my act.
“Lea, what is she saying? Do not tell me that you came all your way here without my permission just to insult my wife who has done nothing wrong to you?” Logan turned to confront his sister.
Her jaws dropped while I was also surprised because Logan didn’t side with her.
“But..she…is actually cheating on you. I heard her talking to her friend.” Lea pointed her finger at me.
Her eyes were shooting daggers at me.
“Enough, Lea!” Logan’s voice echoed.
I also flinched at the intensity. He was fuming with anger.
“But…Logan.” A flabbergasted Lea tried to speak.
“Just leave. I don’t want to say something mean t you which we both would regret so it’s better if you go from here.” He said in a firm voice.
She clenched her jaws but she knew that her brother’s anger would only get worse if she kept pushing him.
“Fine, I am leaving but mind my words. This woman will never be yours. One day when you’ll believe that she loves you, she’ll disappear to make you suffer.” Lea said at last with so much venom in each word.
Once she stormed out of the house, I sighed and sat down.
