Chapter 177 Anyone Would Want Him?

The next morning, Eloise came out of the kitchen carrying a plate of bread. When she saw Noah coming downstairs, she smiled and said, “Good morning, sweetie!”

“Good morning, Mom,” Noah replied.

Noah walked over to the dining room, climbed up onto his chair, and sat down.

Grayson came out holding a glass of milk.

After they sat down, Eloise served Noah a sandwich and asked, “What did Dad treat you to yesterday?”

Noah looked up at Grayson and said, “Steak.”

Grayson gave him an approving nod.

Eloise asked, “Was it good?”

Noah replied, “Delicious.”

Eloise smiled.

‘Grayson’s really good with Noah. Maybe I should let him handle Noah more often, so I can go out and enjoy myself, Eloise thought.

Juliette woke up the next morning, her waist feeling like it was about to snap. She got out of bed, opened the door, and saw Colton in the kitchen making breakfast.

She stood there for a bit, just watching him. Colton spotted her and grinned, “Go freshen up and grab some breakfast.”

Juliette walked over and hugged him from behind, leaning her head against his broad back.

Colton paused. “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing, I just wanted a hug,” Juliette said.

Colton put down the spatula, turned around, and pulled her into his arms.

The winter sunlight poured through the floor-to-ceiling windows, wrapping them in a golden glow.

“It’s the weekend. After breakfast, let’s go have some fun,” Colton said.

“Where are we going?” Juliette asked.

“Since it’s cold outside, how about we go rock climbing?” Colton suggested.

‘I’ve never tried it, Juliette admitted.

‘Don’t worry, I know how. I’ll show you, Colton reassured her.

‘Sure! Let’s invite Eloise and Grayson, too. It’ll be more fun with everyone, Juliette suggested.

‘Do we really have to invite them?’ Colton asked.

‘Nope, we have to, Juliette insisted.

‘It’d be so dull with just me and Colton. If Eloise comes along, we can chat and have a good time together,’ Juliette thought.

After hanging up, Eloise looked up at Grayson. “Juliette just invited us to go rock climbing.”

Grayson glanced at Noah. “So, should we bring him along?”

Eloise replied, “Of course, let’s take him. It’ll be a good experience for Noah to try rock climbing too.”

Noah’s eyes sparkled with excitement.

“I want to go!” he said eagerly.

Juliette and Colton arrived first, got changed into their gear, and then Eloise and Grayson showed up.

Juliette waved at them. “Over here!”

“My godson’s here too!” Juliette said with a grin.

Noah greeted her sweetly, “Hi, Juliette.”

“Hi, Colton,” he added.

Colton smiled and gave Noah’s hair a playful tousle.

“Go suit up, guys. We’ll go try it out first,” Colton said.

Then he took Juliette by the hand and led her away.

Eloise shot them a look.

‘Are they good now?’ she wondered.

After seeing Juliette yesterday, Eloise had thought they were about to break up.

Grayson turned her face toward him. “Come on, let’s go.”

Once the three of them had changed into their gear, Grayson handed Noah off to a coach and then focused on Eloise, taking her to the adult climbing area to teach her himself.

Eloise was pretty annoyed. Every time she made it about two-thirds of the way up, she kept losing her grip and falling off.

“No way, I want another go,” Eloise insisted, refusing to give up.

Grayson laughed and gently stopped her. “Take a break for a bit. You’re out of energy right now.”

“There’s a drink stand over there. Let’s go sit down and grab something to drink,” he suggested.

After they grabbed their drinks and sat down, Colton and Juliette soon joined them.

Juliette flopped into a chair. “I can’t do this anymore. I’m exhausted.”

Eloise pushed the drink she’d ordered over to her. “Here, get some energy back.”

Juliette grabbed the drink and gulped it down. “That hits the spot!”

“No way, I need another one,” she said, already reaching for the menu.

She stood up and walked over to the drink counter.

Suddenly, a woman rushed over and caught her off guard with a slap.

“Yvonne!” Dustin came running over.

“Yvonne, are you out of your mind?” he yelled.

Dustin looked at Juliette, guilt written all over his face.

Juliette looked pissed.

Yvonne was Dustin’s fiancée.

“I’m not crazy! I hit her on purpose. She’s been going after my fiancé!” Yvonne shouted.

A loud slap echoed through the air.

Yvonne had barely finished her sentence when she took a slap right to the face.

Eloise didn’t hold back. Her hand left a clear red mark on Yvonne’s cheek.

Yvonne clutched her face, her expression twisted in shock. “Who the hell are you? You actually hit me?”

Dustin’s expression turned complicated when he saw Eloise.

If you can’t keep your man in check, don’t go taking it out on others. I seriously can’t stand people like you,” Eloise said.

Juliette felt speechless.

Dustin just stood there, dumbfounded.

He gritted his teeth and retorted, “I’m only 35.”

Eloise arched a brow. “Seriously? I don’t buy it. You sure don’t look it.”

Yvonne was fuming, her face flushed with rage.

“You slut, what kind of nonsense are you spouting? It’s obviously Juliette who’s been throwing herself at Dustin! She was all over him back when she was his secretary, and even after quitting, she still won’t let him go!” Yvonne snapped.

“Watch your mouth, Yvonne,” Grayson said, stepping up beside Eloise, his face darkening.

Colton moved to stand next to Juliette, shooting Dustin a cold, warning look.

Dustin was stunned. ‘Wait, Juliette’s new boyfriend actually knows Grayson?’ he thought.

‘No way!’ he told himself.

‘It must be because Juliette and Eloise are friends, so Juliette just asked him to come along,’ he figured.

‘Yeah, that’s gotta be it. Juliette’s boyfriend is just some random guy working for Colton,’ he convinced himself. Dustin didn’t want to get into a confrontation with Grayson, and seeing Eloise was the last thing he needed. He dragged Yvonne away in a hurry.

Yvonne was scared of Grayson, too. She didn’t really know him, but she’d heard all the stuff he’d pulled.

‘And Camille is still locked up in the psych ward, she thought.

When Grayson gave her a look, Yvonne was scared out of her wits.

Once they were far enough away, Yvonne finally asked, “What’s her relationship with Grayson?”
