He Cheated I Rose Making Him Regret Everything (Chloe and Arthur) novel Chapter 484

Chapter 484 The Truth Revealed

Arthur stood there motionless. All the explanations he’d prepared felt hollow now. He hadn’t even gotten the chance to put on a show.

“I’ll go…” Charles gripped his cane and tried to stand, his movements slow and strained.

Arthur moved to help him, but Zachary was faster, stepping in to steady the old man.

“I apologize for the mess you’ve all witnessed. The Myers family has reached this point–there’s no point

in hiding anymore.” Leaning on Zachary, Charles made his way slowly toward the door.

Outside, the media had been waiting. The moment Charles appeared, every camera swung in his direction.

“Thank you for your patience, and I’m sorry for the delay. Regarding everything that’s been circulating publicly, I have something to say.”

Charles offered a public apology to everyone who’d been following the story. On behalf of the entire Myers Group, he took responsibility for the recent rumors that had spread.

All of it–every last bit–had been fabricated by Jennifer. The negative press about Chloe, the whispers, the smears–all part of her scheme.

The footage showing Jennifer’s attempt on Chloe’s life was released directly to the public. And the child she was carrying? Nothing to do with Arthur. She’d built her entire position on lies.

Charles then revealed, for the first time publicly, how Chloe had once saved the company. How she’d stepped in when Myers Group was on the verge of collapse. The shares he was transferring to her now weren’t a gift–they were what the company owed her.

Without Chloe, there’d be no Myers Group. If anyone had a problem with that, too bad. The transfer had already been notarized. The fact was simple: Chloe was now the largest shareholder.

“I’m sorry it’s come to this. Myers Group owes everyone an apology.”

Charles bowed slowly to the cameras.

The truth, laid bare, was ugly. But undeniable. Jennifer had been the one pulling the strings all along. And now she’d been taken away in handcuffs. The footage of her plot, her attack on Chloe–it was out there for

everyone to see.

Arthur stood off to the side, listening silently as his grandfather gave orders.

“Jennifer’s pregnant,” Charles added, glancing briefly at Arthur. “That complicates things legally. We can’t press charges the way we’d like to yet.” His tone turned bitter as he looked at his grandson. “And you. Look at the woman you chose. Trash.”

Arthur dropped his gaze. “I’m sorry.”

Charles ignored him completely. He turned back to Chloe. “Jennifer’s getting what she deserves. But there’s still the kid–the boy. Jenarth.” He shot another disapproving look at Arthur, like he wished the man would disappear entirely.

“That kid’s trouble. I’m thinking–I’ll have someone send him abroad. Somewhere far. Somewhere he can’t come back from. Better to be safe.” Charles remembered the first time he’d seen that boy’s eyes. Something about them had unsettled him. Too sharp. Too cold. Not right for a child that age.

You see it in movies all the timeleave the door open even a crack, and it comes back to haunt you. Better to spend the money, put in the effort, and make sure that door stays closed for good.

Chloe responded quietly, “Do what you think is best.”

“Good. Leave it with me. You don’t need to worry about it.” Charles gave a small nod, and Greg wheeled him away.
