He Cheated I Rose Making Him Regret Everything (Chloe and Arthur) novel Chapter 624

It was his own mistake—all of it, and he deserved every bit of what came after.

Greg had gathered every document.

"Ms. Lewis, everything's here. Home addresses, the works," Greg said, handing over the papers to Chloe.

She took the thick stack and stood. "Alright, thanks. I'll take these with me."

She glanced at Arthur and offered a slight smile. "I'm heading out."

Arthur met her eyes and spoke gently, "Let me walk you to your car."

"Sure." She didn't refuse.

Arthur and Greg accompanied her out of the estate. As they reached her vehicle, Chloe noticed a subdued black sedan parked just beyond the yard—one they all recognized.

It was Eugene's car.

Catching sight of it, Chloe turned back to Arthur and said simply, "I'll be going now."

"Take care."

She slid into the driver's seat, started the engine, and pulled away. As she drew alongside Eugene's car, she tapped the horn lightly.

The rear window rolled down slowly, revealing the man inside.

"Let's grab dinner. I have some information for you," he said.

"Alright."

Chloe agreed and led the way.

Inside a private dining room at an upscale restaurant, Bruce placed a bowl of fruit on the table before stepping out.

"Mr. Rosewood, Mrs. Rosewood, enjoy your meal," he said politely before leaving.

The way he said "Mrs. Rosewood" made Chloe press her lips together—it sounded oddly endearing.

She eyed the bowl on the table and raised an eyebrow. "We're here for dinner and you bring fruit? Who taught you that?"

"My mother grew these herself. She's gotten into gardening lately. These are jaboticabas—they're quite good," Eugene explained. Reaching out, he took her hand and gently guided her into the seat beside him.

The table was laid with a selection of simple dishes, each one among her favorites.

Just looking at them reminded her how different life felt depending on who you shared it with.

"What's this information you mentioned?" She picked up her fork, took a bite, and then asked.
