He Cheated I Rose Making Him Regret Everything (Chloe and Arthur) novel Chapter 632

She approached the car, swung the door open, and slipped inside.

"You made it!" Oralia was practically buzzing with excitement. Without a second thought, she leaned over and wrapped Chloe—who was behind the wheel—in a tight hug, planting a kiss right on her cheek.

"Alright, take it down a notch," Chloe said with a light chuckle, letting Oralia have her moment.

From the backseat, Robert observed calmly. "You know, if your fans caught you acting like this, they'd totally lose it."

"Let them," Oralia shot back, turning to flash a bright smile. "I'd just team up with Chloe here and call it a day." She grinned even wider. "Seriously, Robert—I'm so happy today."

What had her in such high spirits was the smashing success of her art exhibition. It had started as a quiet little project, something just for herself, until Chloe saw her work and insisted it deserved to be seen. Put your stuff out there, Chloe had told her. I bet a lot of people would connect with it.

And she was right. The exhibition was a hit, and Oralia was over the moon. But what really topped it off was hearing from Chloe again—a text out of the blue asking to meet up.

Ever since Chloe had gone off the radar, Oralia had been worried sick. Then Jennifer showed up pretending to be her, which only made things worse. But now Chloe was back.

Everything finally felt right again.

"So, where are we eating? My treat," Oralia said, buckling her seatbelt with an air of seriousness.

"I've got plans later," Chloe replied simply. "Let's just head to my place. I'll drive you two back."

Melinda and Zachary were already there. Chloe had ordered catering from a nearby restaurant to be delivered. She'd drop off Oralia and Robert, share a meal, and then head out.

She'd been away for a few days now. It was time to go back.

Vincent hadn't reached out—no texts, no calls. And in his world, no news usually meant he was wrapped up in something big. As long as she didn't cross any lines, hanging out with friends shouldn't be a problem.

When they arrived at Riverville Prime Residence, the small circle of old friends who seldom got a chance to catch up were finally reunited—Zachary and Melinda were already there, and the second Melinda laid eyes on Chloe, she hurried over and pulled her into a long, lingering hug.

"I've missed you so much, Chloe!"

Oralia watched the scene, a little stunned. It was heartwarming, sure, but also... kind of interesting.

Melinda was strikingly handsome, Chloe effortlessly beautiful—side by side, they looked like they belonged together. If it weren't for the whole same-gender thing, they'd make quite the picture-perfect couple.

"Okay, okay, break it up," Zachary said with an easy smile as he walked over. He gently nudged Melinda toward the kitchen. "Lunch is about ready. Let's get everything plated."

"Hold that thought, Chloe! We'll be right back," Melinda called over her shoulder as Zachary guided her away.

Oralia's eyes were wide. She glanced at Chloe and finally whispered, "Is there... something going on between those two that we don't know about?"
