Gwen was also famous for her relentless dedication to charity work. She constantly made appearances at major philanthropic events, and her public reputation was flawless. In elite circles, she was widely praised as a great philanthropist.
The level of luxury and privacy at this club was second only to La Belle Nuit, and they were notoriously strict about protecting their clients' privacy.
If Scarlett didn't have the backing of her incredibly powerful benefactor, she never would have gotten clearance to step foot inside, let alone witness the depraved, unrestrained behavior these two women indulged in behind closed doors.
Staring at the scene unfolding inside the VIP room, Scarlett felt an overwhelming wave of disgust and irony.
Instead of kicking the door down immediately, she stepped aside and dialed Yardley's number.
Ever since Orchard Villa burned down, Yardley had been staying at his family's main estate.
He had just stepped out of the shower and received the news about the fire at La Belle Nuit. He was just about to call Scarlett to check on the situation when his phone suddenly rang with her name.
Seeing the word "Wife" flashing on the screen, Yardley's heart tightened. He answered the call eagerly.
"Scarlett, how is the club? Is your mom okay? Do you need me to—"
Scarlett completely ignored his questions and sharply changed the subject.
"Yardley, what kind of woman do you think Sylvia is?"
Yardley was completely caught off guard. "..."
"Why are you suddenly asking about her?" He paused for a few seconds, assuming Scarlett was lashing out from the stress. "Don't tell me you suspect Sylvia hired someone to burn down the club? That's impossible. She simply doesn't have the personality to do something that crazy."
Scarlett let out a cold, biting sneer.
"Is that so? Then tell me, Yardley, what exactly is her personality like in your eyes?"
Yardley couldn't figure out what she was getting at. He thought for a moment before speaking softly.
"She has always been timid and innocent since we were kids. She can't even stomach watching a fish get cleaned. Arson is absolutely out of the question."
