Scarlett burst out laughing at Talia's bizarre logic.
Any other girl would be horrified and filled with regret after hearing she drunkenly assaulted a man.
Only Talia would be devastated that he didn't take advantage of her.
"Alright, Talia, have some dignity," Scarlett chuckled. "If you act too wild, Chatwin's going to think you're easy. We all know you haven't even had a proper boyfriend."
Talia wildly shushed her, her face burning red.
"Scarlett! Do not ever mention that in front of him!"
"I've figured it out. He clearly likes those wild, seductive, experienced women who know how to play the game! So I have to pretend to be exactly that if I want him to look at me!"
"From now on, you have to tell him I've dated tons of guys, that I have massive amounts of experience in the bedroom. Tell him I can do innocent, I can do hardcore, I know all the tricks, and I have insane stamina! Ten times a night—no, twenty times a night is no problem for me!"
Getting more and more hyped up, Talia bounced on the mattress, waving her arms and making Scarlett and Gordon double over in laughter.
Right at that moment, Chatwin strolled into the room, carrying a box of fancy pastries.
He caught the entire second half of her speech. His handsome brows shot up in amusement.
"Little one, you have that big of an appetite? You play that wild?"
Talia was all talk—a total novice with zero dating or bedroom experience.
She never in a million years expected him to walk in and hear her unhinged rant. Instant social death. Her face turned the color of a tomato, and she shoved her head under her pillow in sheer mortification.
Watching her, a deep, knowing smile touched Chatwin's lips.
He set the pastries on the nightstand and reached over to pat the back of her head through the pillow.
"If I knew you were that wild, I would've just taken you last night."
