He Never Loved Me Until the Day I Finally Left Him novel Chapter 345

Sebastian stared down at her, a predatory dominance radiating from him.

Helena had no idea what he was going to do.

But surprisingly, she stopped fighting, a sense of reckless resignation washing over her.

She spoke with utter indifference, "Sebastian, my cervix just had an emergency cerclage. Even with that, the pregnancy isn't stable, let alone capable of handling any kind of rough physical activity."

It was a warning.

But she delivered it with total candor.

Sebastian knew exactly what she meant.

No matter how pissed off he was at her, he wouldn't sink to the level of a beast right now.

It was just that her attitude and her words had genuinely infuriated him.

It was a sensation of totally losing control.

But deep down, he knew the truth even better.

He had lost control over Helena a long time ago.

He reined in his temper, speaking with a dark chill. "So, you think you're untouchable now, is that it?"

Helena didn't say a word, having zero desire to argue with him.

She just stared right back at him, refusing to look away.

Their eyes clashed in the silence, an unspoken war raging between them.

It dragged on for so long that Helena started to feel numb, completely bracing herself for the worst.

Suddenly, he let go of her.

His expression was still a thundercloud.

But he didn't utter another syllable, just spun around and stalked straight into the bathroom.

Helena stayed frozen on the bed, but she finally let out a massive breath.

She knew she was safe for now.

A minute ago, she had been truly terrified he was going to lose his mind and snap.

She lay limp against the mattress for a long time, listening to the sound of the shower running.

After spacing out for a while, she struggled to sit up.

Sebastian stepped out of the bathroom, freshly showered.

Their eyes met.

But neither of them spoke.

Helena had no intention of staying in the room.

Just as she reached the door of the master bedroom, his voice cut through the silence.

"Make me dinner," he ordered coldly.
